    You should contact Brad a skydive mesquite since that is the only around las vegas to jump (OK not technically, but is absolutely the best.). If I had to guess I would say all you should need are a log book, a way to verify the log book, and a u.s.p.a. membership. The membership can be taken care of at the D.Z. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    you should definetly make a jump at skydive mesquite. Just make shure you deal with them directly, don't use a middle man (sky ride). You can call them at 1-877-246-5867. or go to thier website at www.skydivemesquite.com. It is not the biggest drop zone in the world but it is the best in nevada. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    If you look near the bottem of the page that Brian links you to you might see the FREE DOWN LOAD for transending fear. I guess you just have to pay attention before jumping to conclusions. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    In addition to all the good advice given so far I like to tie the reserve handle so that it cannot be pulled on accident when the tsa agent who has never seen a rig before tries to pick it up. If you are nervous that you might forget to untie the handle before you jump, then use the chest strap to secure the handle. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    The disability issue is not that cut and dried. I personaly don't know any of the facts in this case but, I do know that there are certain disabilities that would not be efected by jumping. Such as certain chemical oversensitivity. Also if the disibility was from military causes it does not seem to matter what you do the VA will still pay. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    For crying out load people, it's a halloween display. And incredibly abstract at that. The displays of hanging people goblins and gools will scare and worry more children than that ever would. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    Two quistions about tryouts for the GK's. Do you have to be active army or can you be national guard and 2 do you have to be airborne quailified? Don Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    All the dropzones in Utah N. America are within an hours drive from a ski resort except skydive moab. Skydive Ogden is probably only 15 or 20 minutes drive from the 2002 Olympic down hill run at snowbasin. Skydive Utah is about an hour drive from Alta, snowbird, Brighton, and solitude ski resorts. Parkcity's ski resorts would be just a bit more than an hour from bolth these dropzones. Skydive mesquite in nevada is just over an hour drive south from Brianhead Utah. This combination would be great for a mid winter skydive ski trip. I hope this helps Don Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    It was filmed over lake powell Utah. They had to get some special permits because it is a national recreation area and the same rules apply there for arial delivery as national parks. Don Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    The price of oil has several companies lined up to extract oil from the shale in utah like they are allready in canada. However just as in canada the shale would have to be mined from huge open pits. This does not sit well with environmental groups. Since the shale is mostly on B.L.M. land a compramise would have to be met with the environmentalist, the government, and the oil companies. These groups usualy don't play well with each other so I do not predict U.S. oil from shale any time soon. Incedently it is estamated that the reserve of oil in the shale rivals that of the middle east. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    Like I said I'm not complaining. Clint owns the drop zone and can charge whatever the market will bear. No matter what h/p's cost I'm still going to the moab boogie.

    $14 to 4500' seems off because the other D.Z.'s in Utah are at a higher elevation and charge $9. I'm not complaining but I can see his point. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    This sort of thing does not just happen with parachutes. Every year the air guard does a low fly by with a kc135 for a pass in review for the govenor. And without exception some idiot will call 911 claiming that the plane crashed. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    Well look who just crawled in. of course you have jumped there, I just did not think you would post. Don't think that I was putting skydive zion down, I would like to make at least 1 jump there myself. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    I doubt that you will find any one on here that has jumped at skydive zion. Since they are a very small operation and hardly ever fly I have not been there so I can't give you advise on their dropzone in particular. However definitely make a skydive and if you enjoy it look into skydive mesquite to continue jumping at. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.

    Skydive Mesquite is the place to jump. You will have to pay extra at skydive lasvegas to get freefall, at skydive mesquite that is included in the basic price. skydive lasvegas is definetly not the place to go if you want a good deal. Death is so permanant, and I'm just not ready for that kind of committment.
