glad to hear there are some tech divers on dz.com ! what shop did you go out with ? by the sound of it i'm guessing quiessence . dont hesitate to message me if you're headed to the keys to tech dive. since diving is how i earn my living i spend most weekends on the motorcycle or skydiving, but if the location is right i'd be up for some run time. it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !

the same is true for key largo... very commercialized ! i live down here and work in the diving industry. although i only do government work, i know most everybody in the charter business. so if you want to drive down to the keys i can steer you towards the "better" dive ops. the big question is what kind of diving do you want to do ? that will determine the best "fit" for you. i'd be glad to help ya if i can. if not, then good luck and keep on jumpin' & divin' !!! it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !

maybe this is a stupid question, but... are you sharing your files ? i'm an avid winmx dude but if i see someone trying to download files from me with ZERO files shared i put them on my IGNORE list. i usually get with a couple of "goodfellas" and we throttle up our bandwidth between each other for FAST downloads. it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !

i tried to explain to a first timer how lucky she was to see a cutaway on load # 1 and get up to 15k on load # 2 , but she didn't understand. BUT... after the jump she DID understand why i'm always smiling !!! it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !

gotcha. All of our guys are hardhats. Superlite 17a to me, but i think that's Mark 25 to you ? The DMT course we did was a handful, so i can only imagine what the CDMT must be like. The only training we do with the "schoolhouse" is the RNT course. Good stuff ! it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !

Military? US Army Combat Dive Supervisor Civilian? Padi Dive Master, Advanced Open Water. Both obtained by virtue of my military ratings. one of my current divers is a retired army master diver , Hal Letts , do you know him by chance ? or did you ever Dive Sup. Greg Griffin or John Bogue ? both of which are former Army divers and former teammates of mine. Waiting for the rain to clear around Sebastian so i can jump today. Hence all my forum posts today. But in answer to your question about the number of jumps... i dont update my profile very often. Not having the Hubble functional anymore will be a loss. But let's not forget that if it wasn't for the crew of the STS-103 the Hubble would have remained inoperable since December 1999. it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !

i went to JSC for R+14 & R+30 medical tests. so during the week of giving LOTS of samples we did a couple of NBL dives , MCC & EXPOC a SIM ride. We make up part of NASA's Undersea Research Team which falls under the NEEMO (NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations) Project. The first mission was October 2001. You may know some of the people the from Life Sciences buildings. James it's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything !
