They might know. Me.... I'm staying here and enjoying ..... hmmm... I'll get back to you on that. Vint . . . . . "Make it hard again." 3. In September. I'm still jumping the canopy I bought in 1981, after being out of the sport for a number of years. It's a Security Unit, and only has about 225 jumps on it. Slow and dependable and works great until I can afford to get something a bit more stylish. Then I'm going to bronze it. Vint . . . . . "Make it hard again." 5. I have a Compaq at work and a Mac at home. Love the Mac. And my daughter got an iBook to take to college this year. She hasn't had to call me much to get support. Very easy to run and unless you have specific software needs, you can get lots of software to do all the basics - editing, tunes, word processing, etc... They are pricey, but I think they're worth it. Vint . . . . . "Make it hard again." Doc Ed “A person needs a little madness, or else they never dare cut the rope and be free” Nikos Kazantzakis
  6. The letter was mostly reacting to local burning issues... ummm... I mean field burning issues. Grass farmers spend a few weeks in August and Sept. burning their field stubble. Why this guy goes off on jets and jet fuel is anyone's guess. And contrails are the government spraying mind control drugs.... Vint . . . . . "Make it hard again." 7. This is a letter to the editor from the local Spokane paper. The first part is about local field burning, but the second part is baffling: Forest Service, jets are big polluters I am a concerned citizen, too, about keeping air clean etc., so why get so out of shape on this field burning when we have a much more serious dilemma? The more important issue is the U.S. Forest Service. They burn and pollute the air all year long, 24 hours a day when they choose to burn. Let's put a stop to U.S. Forest Service burning. Also, if you're going to make farmers quit, who only burn a week or two out of a year, let's take notice of another horrible air polluter: jets. They take off at Spokane International Airport and other places leaving tons of cubic feet of pollutants behind. Twenty four hours a day and 365 days a year the exhaust from them leaves a very harmful contaminant that penetrates the skin, and is very harmful to humans. One small injection into the blood can kill instantly. Jet fuel exhaust is a potential killer in time, so why stop the small polluter such as farmers, and get the real polluter stopped such as the U.S. Forest Service and all commuting planes overhead.
