    It - IS - the people, the culture, and the government. More welcoming? Have you heard of southern hospitality? It's real. What do the rural areas lack? More perceived free Handouts. (Free to the takers) ETA: There are actually MANY things. For instance: A more normalized view of getting things done (legally) without imposing on others. I would also offer that there is a less normalized criminal mind set.

    I agree. If you don't like it leave. That's what they are doing in San Francisco. Even In and Out is leaving. They can't stop the criminality on their properties. Fix those relatively small areas compared to the entirety of the US, and we have a place to start negotiations. But if you can't fix that problem, in that relatively small area, what makes anyone think they can fix the larger problem?

    I do not believe that "Very Few" is accurate. More than one is a scary event for the constitution. But your dance around it by using "All" is telling. So is that ALL but one type of weapon? Is that ALL but 2 kinds? Where does the infringment reach a limit for you? But - At least you admit that the left likes the scare mongering - Foe instance . . . Climate events come to mind here. 70's - The Sky Is Falling 80's - The sky is falling faster we'll be dead by 2000 90's - The planet is disintegrating - We'll be dead in 20 years 2000's - The planet is all but dead and will explode in some years!! You see the issue? Aren't we supposed to be out of oil by now?

    Did you look at the concentration of events and their physical location? Where are the majority of events located? Would that possibly be in the cities?

    Can't fault your logic on that. You know what though, odds of a new born baby stabbing you with a knife may not be very high, but its never zero. But I see what you are saying. For my family, myself, and anyone at my house at least, its the right thing to do though. You can choose differently. Its a great country! Your right is to be able to choose differently. My right is to do what I'm doing.

    Firstly, defending isn't necessarily killing. The FIRST thing I think of is situational awareness, and a contigency plan. As far as Billy is concened, I have no idea what their situation was, do you? What -DO- you imagine? Please describe in detail your imaginings wrt Billy and his wife and two daughters. I'm jonesing to hear this.
