In the U.S. , there are plenty of non-USPA DZ's as long as they satisfy the FAA.

We're starting to get lower temperatures (last week) but today I was drinking beer in shirtsleeves. Still time, but it won't last too much longer.

Ditto here also. All of the reasons you stated (and a few others) combined to make the sport "not as much fun as it used to be." While I still jump occasionally, the same need is gone.

There is a massive car show and swap meet in Hershey, Pa. beginning on 10/8. Can anyone advise me on the availability of camping sites on the premises? Thanx

Very easy, just bend your knee's and pull your legs up in front of you, at the same time throw your head back, you'll spin. The hardest part is knowing when to "come out of it" so you don't over-rotate.

Ditto-The days started around 6:30AM and went till about 10PM with a short break for lunch. When I knocked off for the day, I'd have at most 2 beers at the local bar and then almost be unconscious. Lonnnng days! Very intensive! I still have blood, from my fingers, on some of the tools I used while out there. I was amazed at how much I learned.

Damage like that can occur if a packing paddle was improperly used to tuck the fabric under the pc cap. You wouldn't be able to see it

The only person I've ever heard in freefall is a guy who jumps at the Ranch. John Skinner has the loudest voice in creation.

Used one of those disposables one time, took some surprisingly good shots in freefall and then tucked it into the top of my jumpsuit before pulling. Worked fine.
