  1. I've got a bracket for front mount helmets. Not sure if you are talking about a top-mount? I have 2 milled aluminum ones waiting for coating. I rattle canned my prototype. Which is holding up well. It was more expensive on the milling the originally planned. But the shop did a great job on them. I designed this one so I can keep the camera mounted and access the card/battery compartment. I only have to take the camera off only a few times a day. Its light and works great. I have 2 bare aluminum brackets available. Still working on a bullet proof bracket for the modded connector. You can see it on the right of the camera. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

  9. Will update the SDS Site tomorrow. Its a bit muddy all around the pond but a week ago it was starting to dry. This last bit of rain, well made the whole thing all wet, AGAIN. Attached are pics. Thanks to Kurt Issel. pg-pond-01 This was the first swoop on the pond with it half full. Yes, I'm buying the beer. pg-pond-02 3rd run on the water after we filled 3/4 of the way. and rough pano of the whole swoop. TJ made it out there and got a little muddy after getting out of the pond, someone else already has the first chow. There is some minor things to improve on it, but it is a legit 230'x60'. That the biggest but a lot better than nothing. I'll keep people update as the field dries out. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  10. Yeah I talked with Mr. Albert Bertchold last season getting the league started again here. It had about a 2 year lay off. Andy Demars organized before that did a great job with little turn out. We had a slow start I think we averaged 5 per meet. Hope for a few more This year. I think the pond will help. I'll give you a buzz and talk soon. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  11. Working on that. Try to budget the meets to have the judges time paid for the day ( including lunch for them), medals, etc. More info to follow. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

  14. We have a few sitting around. Thanks for taking it apart, now I don't have to. It is amazing, just like tape based cameras the tape and battery are the biggest parts of the camera. Not much to the unit over all. If they could find a better battery solution the units could be considerably smaller. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  15. Anyone have any news or results from the comps? The website is a little sluggish on getting results up. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  16. Hey yo, I made that comment because out of the whole article JP found a caption to make a comment about me. This thread is not about me. As I read my post it now looks like bragging. Wish I could take it back. If you want to talk about my qualifications or anything else, start another thread, tell me where it is so I know where NOT to go. Vector Boy I hope that your comment is in reference to JP. I hold no wingsuit rating at this time. Now back to the topic at hand. Please. I think this is a about starting a biz, not just skydiving discrimination at a federally funded airport Let's keep this on topic.. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  17. 17 years in the sport, years of coaching/organizing a few medals and 3 world records. I finally felt ready to take the course and responsibility of students. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  18. Some of you might know Skydive Sacramento has been dealing with airport access issues at Lincoln Regional Airport for the last 2 years. We are in the middle of an official FAA complaint for the discriminating acts from airport management at a federally funded airport. Here is the article. http://www.sacbee.com/ourregion/story/2233416.htmlhttp://www.sacbee.com/ourregion/story/2233416.html www.skydivesac.comhttp://www.skydivesac.com www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

  20. From a few years back. The picture with the plane in the back, World Freefall convention and we planned it. Second attempt. The second, with 8mm fish eye on 10d 0r 20d circa 2004. 21. I just delivered 2 aff vid jumps to a student who requested it on a thumb drive. I'm looking into this type of delivery model for my coaching purposes. It makes a lot of sense to me especially with the new solid state cameras. I'm working to repurpose an older computer for debrifing purposes. Tandems will require a little more planning. I think handing a dvd is a simpler package. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

  23. Christmas has come early for Skydive Sacramento, at Lincoln airport. Skydive Sacramento has a Super Otter for the Winter! So to celebrate, it’s a party this weekend Nov 29th and 30th with $20 jump tickets. The weather gods have shined beautiful weather on us with a great weekend so come on out and see the new DZ. Peter Galli from Guano and Jason Cahill and will be on hand organizing and having some fun themselves. More dudes and dudettes will be around to organize and party. Skydive Sacramento has been open for a 4 months with their 182 and office space and with the big plane moving in they have picked up a new 5000sq hanger and looking for couches and stuff to populate for the next few months before the move in to their expected home, a 10,000 sq hanger on the far side of the airport. That’s a Super Otter, Cool skydives, $20 jumps at Skydive Sacramento. http://www.skydivesacramento.net/ Directions: http://www.skydivesacramento.net/location.html More info to follow. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  24. What Aggie dave said!!! If you think something is wrong have a rigger or experience jumper who has been in the sport for years look at it. If a piece of gear seems wore talk to the rigger about getting it fixed/replaced. then there is no worry, your gear is maintained and in good shape. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
  25. Yeah, the first lineup of Salcone, Fiala, Meeker, Malchiodi, and myself (Galli, doing camera) was our allstar team. Fiala won't be able to make it and I would like to fly instead of doing camera. Plus, I filled in on a bunch of the training jumps (the few we were able to do to weather) so I'm one of the best to fill in with the least amount of retooling the formations. I've done a lot of camera the last few years and would like to play more. I think my 4way RW(belly) experience is a huge advantage and this lineup has jumped a lot together . I think I'm going to really enjoy it. Camera is the toughest slot for VRW and is my specialty. 4way(belly) camera is copywork, parking yourself over the formation after exit and keeping them in frame. VRW is constantly looking to see if grips are hiding behind someones arm/body/head and constantly adjusting. Craig is a great camera flier and will pick things up fast. I am looking forward to being more of a participant and not a spectator filming. www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com
