I have to say that I can't be impartial because I work here. I've been editing the videos for many different camerapeople for the last 8 years and am happy to say I am the best video editor on this DZ. We've got the most experienced Tandem masters in Hawaii as well as having the Largest, fastest Jumpship(kingair 100). The view out here is amazing(best time for the scenery is in the winter). In the summer time I even set up our swimming pool for after jump beers and stories. Along with the clubhouse next door with all of the local jumpers hangin out. This place ROCKS!!!!!

It's come to my attention that -R's play on most home DVD players. When recording at HQ on the Sony it generally takes about 5 minutes to finalize the disc. I also place leaders onto the disc days before I put the customers video onto it.Also, It is widely known already that most home DVD players will not accept the +/- RW format. Finalizing is also REQUIRED to play a +/-R in a home player

I am an Editor at a fairly busy DZ and was just wondering what an Editors (average) wages should be--- $ per video tape or DVD and/or hourly wages? Thanks for any and all help
