I'm sure your hike it to exit #5 at least once KT. Just for the fun of it. #5 the best!

Is a drop off one of thoughs towers considered a BASE jump? You didn't really jump. You were dropped. And what a sweet drop is was.

You haven't lived until you've been a Union Sheet Metal Worker "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

They wouldn't look as cool with the tapes on the inside! "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

I totaly agree with Tom on this one. My deep brakes on my Fox will open at almost a stand still with no tailwind. I won't jump my deep brakes on antennas where there is almost always a tailwind. Also, when I had the fifth brake line mod done on one of my Foxes it changed everything as far as the brakes are concerned. (FOR ME) It might not for others. Depending on your wing loading. Think your scared now. Wait till you have a object strike. That puts the fun back into it! "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

The largest BASE canopy that I have heard of is the FLIK 322 by Basic Research. If you look under their price list they show a FOX 315 but I have never seen one. I'm just a little guy at 6'2" and 200lbs and my two FOX 285's and my FLIK 293 all land me very well.(After I learned to fly them) My FLIK lands better than the FOX's but I still like the FOX better. I think it's more of a security blanket issue. All of them are V-Tec's with valve covers. One FOX has the fifth brake line mod. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

You guys must have some worthless cats. Hell, my cat helps me pack. Whether I want him to or not. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Ain't that the truth! I'm still living off hotdogs and PB&J after buying that last canopy. My third BR canopy. (I'm I getting closer to free gear KT) "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Wow! You need to make a packing video. I'll buy one. I must pack more like PerFlare. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

I don't have hundreds of jumps so take this for what it's worth. I have two Fox canopys. One with and one without a multi. I can't tell any difference between the two when it comes to on heading performance slider off. They are the same size and both V-tec's. One is in a Vision (The single point attachment) and one in a Reactor 4. I do believe in the multi when it comes to terminal jumps though. I doubt there will ever be a agreement on whether the multi is better than a single point attachment. I go with what I feel comfortable with. Do you have a specific produst name.? I found a Sony GV-D1000. It didn't say anything about imput/output various standards. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Is there any way to convert a digital PAL video to a NTSC format? My Sony PC-105 will play it but nothing else will. Suggestions. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Good thinking! Don't waste your money on a pair of high dollar Pantz. A good tracker in a pair of smoke pants is absolutely amazing. You might have to start smoking though. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

I struck my local "A" a couple of months ago. I had almost sixty jumps off of it and then BAM! Just got beat up a little from the tree landing that followed. My canopy didn't do as well. "I must say that a 180 after a 1 second delay from a cliff with no overhang is pushing the very limits of one's skills." - Earl Redfern Oct. 22 1999 BASE 772 "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

I have no problem wearing my hard shell knee pads under my pantz either. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

The scariest BASE jumps are the ones that go wrong and you realize that the only reason your still alive is pure luck! "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Although altitude plays a very important roll in choosing whether to go stowed or not lets not forget about the landing area. A nasty pc hesitation can put you in a undesirable location where you can't make the landing area. Add a 90 or even a 180 degree off heading to that and all you got is-- power lines, sub-stations, fences, trees, talus, street lights, cars, .... and the list can go on. So even if the object is 450ft it might not be a good idea to go stowed. Just my 2 cents. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

2. Sell your skydive rig in order to pay for your third BASE rig.

Although I didn't know Brian I do know many BASE jumpers. And I can't think of one who would want their family or anyone else to sue someone because they were killed doing something they love. Something that you have to go out of your way to do. Something that you have to buy specific gear to do. Nobody just falls off the bridge. You have to climb the rail. And I know of no one who was forced to BASE jump any where. I have talked to my family years ago about not taking any legal action against my friends or property owners of objects that I jump. What a INSULT that would be. I truly believe that Brian Stout would not want jumping stopped or regulated in any way because of his death. I know I wouldn't. I stand behind the state of Idaho! I mean no disrespect to anyone. Dave Overland BASE 772 "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"
