Any downsides to STU vs default, for non-wingsuiters? Doesn't sound like default is most suitable for any type of jump.

Mine skipped a few hop & pops, especially when I pulled quickly. It seems I didn't reach a fast enough freefall for the logging software to count it as a jump. Does yours log hop & pops? How about other brands? My display also stays at 0 until about 250ft during takeoff, not sure if it's related.

As I start to log my jumps in a spreadsheet (easier to add up delay times), I was still writing in my paper logbook. If you also use spreadsheets, do you drop the paper logbook?

How do you decide your repack frequency? Or do you never get it repacked?

Probably not with the traditional players but I see the smartwatches picking up steam. They have all that and more.

Recent plane incidents have made me think about planes a bit. - Do you do anything relating to planes as a skydiver not knowledgeable about planes to help make it safer day when you jump? - I've heard folks say they avoid single engine planes. Is that recommended? - If so, what if you are manifested on what you think is a dual engine plane and something changed to get you a single engine? Do you just not go? It would probably sound strange to try to trade slots with someone else if your reason is that you find that particular plane less safe.
