    Hi my first poll But being a lurker for awhile ... odd silly post (couple of beers to pluck the courage). Any ways ( bottle of wine) doing a poll specifically for the Bonfire really ( cause other forums relate to peoples personal issues). I want to know what grabs peoples attention when it comes to posting ! Don't we all want to know ? Why post if no-one listens ? HELLO !!! My reasons for selecting to read posts have changed alot since starting at DZ.Com .     I can see where your coming from, but I'd say more yellow. Only because I guess it probably started out as white and then with time and heat (looks like a resistor of sorts) its gone off colour ...ie yellow.     Born in Zambia ...then 10 years in S.A ..Durban, Capetown and Bloemfontain . Moved to Uk when I was 12, but went back to see family every few years. Did my first freefall and AFF at PPC. That count !?!?! mmmmmm...biltong, cooksisters, oma rusks and fanta grape ...or castle as I've aged !! ------------------------------------------------- Please forgive the sp errors, I have dyslexia.     Had the same thoughts myself. The Classifieds are great ....they could just do with breaking down a wee bit more. Either that or a criteria search engine.     Glade you asked that question !!! I was thinking of doing the same thing, but had either Elsinore or Empuria in mind. Friend did Perris last year and said it was a fantastic DZ, but a little intimidating for newbies. He popped across to Elsinore and found the training and people where spot on. Like you, I'm in the UK, so Empuria looks kinda convenient too. I'm planning to redo my AFF as its being 2 years since jumping, but this time aiming to complete the full A'licence in one shot, to avoid the whole 'overseas training isn't as good as ours...your going to have to redo levels XYZ' issue. Sorry got carried away, didn't mean to hijack your tread but would also appreciate any advice. ------------------------------------------------- Please forgive the sp errors, I have dyslexia.     Hi, was thinking of getting the 'Survival series' myself ... but found no reviews on it.     This is one of my FIRST posts ...daaamm thats alota beer I owe all you guy's !! But to get back to the point ..its about the sharing with your new community. I had such a good time doing my AFF at PPC in South Africa, that another UK student and myself wanted to repay everyone (newbies,JM's,admin..etc) so we bought a PIG !! That is in the light of having a spit-roast...it was a great night , everyone pitched in to organise it from salads to a Lord of the Rings Theme Night. Cost was not an issue .. everyone pulled together and it was the thought that counted. We left the DZ feeling we where leaving old friends behind. ------------------------------------------------- Please forgive the sp errors, I have dyslexia.
