I have done a lot of other sports and activities...But this one seems more prone to it. 1. I know its a high risk/high reward sport. 2. I know that once people get comfertable with it and start pushing it it is easy to think of yourself as an expert...This is more so since like another poster said that even an "A" licensed jumper is better than 99% of the population. But my question that seems specific to this sport is why people don't listen to guys with much more experience? Kris had a good point about slamming a student that refuses to listen in martial arts training. I did it when I taught years ago.....So what is the skydiving equivalent to poping a "know it all " upside the head? I agree........this sport is more prone to it. I like Kris's method of dealing with those type of students. As to why in this sport? I really don't know.

Aren't we all fucked up to a degree? I guess there are some people who do have "issues" but from what I've read and seen there seems to be some evidence that these people are really born into the wrong bodies. That something happens during the development of the embryo and the brain goes one direction and the body goes another. That physically they are one sex but mentally they are another. Oprah had a show about it not too long ago and there were children who were just so uncomfortable in their own skin... It was extremely interesting. Now as far as would I date someone who is dealing with this, I don't know. Like someone else said, relationships are hard enough as it is. I really don't think you can compare cross dressing with someone being transgendered though. Oh Luv2Fall, I am SO sorry... How is Ren doing? I worry about mine when I'm at the DZ as they only have each other for company. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to one of them Blue skies Stimpy. Steph -x- Thank you so much. Except for the first night, Ren is fine. Ren is a little on the aggressive side, independant, ect.......he's doing well - I'm surprised but glad. Stimpy, on the other hand, was the sweet one, loved human companionship, kisses etc. I think if what happened was the other way around, Stimpy wouldn't fair as well. Even though my wife takes care of mine while at the DZ, I still worry......they are like little people with their individual personalities, likes and dislikes. I understand how you feel.........we worry about them......they are special gifts to us. BTW, a true bird lover is "A-O.K" in my book.

Sometimes is not that easy, right now I'm going thru certain circumstances that are really afecting me, not good at all, only time will tell, but.....still, how long? Oh yeah..........awesome, indeed...........brought these up for Valentines. I've given one to my wife, my mother and my mother-in-law......they all loved it.
