a while back I was pressing charges against a young Marine who assaulted my son and received an ass whooping in return. Anyway, I dropped all charges.......couldn't go through with it due to circumstances. The young man, shortly after the incident, was on lockdown and was shipping off to the desert - to my understanding. Well, that will be an eye opener for him........he's young and made an unwise decision. As he's just starting out, I don't want anything on his record..............most everyone deserves a second chance. I believe his stint in the Corp will teach him alot. Hope I made the right decision - I feel in my heart I did.

Skydive the Point - Memorial Day Weekend

Hey Andy - fuck the rain - I'll be there tomorrow. -
I don't think I would like a 182 as I'm 6'4". For me, a King Air is decent but the Otter rules.

Damn skippy! That's the only way my friend. In fact, at least mine does, your significant other "brags" about it to her girlfriends. Then you have to watchout for a girlfriend or two of hers LOL. -
Just an hour away.

You will be missed by the folks of West Point.......don't be a stranger there whenever you head our way. Good luck in FL.

My wife, as a young child, was so badly burned, she spent two years in a hospital. Physical appearance is overrated...........and, to a degree, shallow. I've always taken care of myself through years of jogging, working out and proper diet..........but if, even now, or if I ever let myself go and people don't like my appearance - fuck'em.

I understand..............I'm so sorry.

Fuck-em, he just aint worth it.

"Making guns more expensive will incent people to keep better track of them, and protect them in their homes." Actually, I don't believe that would be a viable solution. Mandated storage within one's own home would be a start. -

I have a carry permit also............we have been checked throughly. Also I have a C&R license. I guess I'm speaking rather about those who do not possess a permit. Gunshows in my area do perform an instant check on gun purchasers.............................Clue me in - do the instant checks pretty much reveal what a court would come up with if you were to apply for a permit? I know for a permit (additional) that you must provide proof of training/compentency whereas that isn't even a factor in instant checks. -

I really don't, at the moment, know of any other safeguards to insure continued or new gun ownership. I'm a strong advocate of owners keeping their guns secure in a gun vault/safe. Simply put...........keeps guns out of children's hands and out of would be criminals/thieves. At risk of sounding "Anti-2nd", I think the "instant checks" used for buying guns should fall a little more in line with the process used when apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit...........sounds unfair and/or Un-American but something else has to be done, unfortunately. Yes, this would fuck-up purchasing guns a gunshows....................what would be the use of having anymore gunshows? Ideally, I feel that most individuals should be able to purchase firearms without checks and carry without permits...............but, unfortunately, that isn't reality anymore as people/society has changed. The criminal element will always have access to guns and that being the case - bans are out of the question as we still have a right to defend ourselves with equal force. Much tougher penalities should also be put into place realtive to using firearms while committing crimes, having firearm accessible to children, etc. We can put a lot of things in place, but that would not guarentee compliance ie, trigger locks, gun safes, evidence of training to own as one must present this evidence to carry (or at least in my State). I have been rambling and have not done a good job presenting my point, but I think you know where I'm coming from. -
Just received an email concerning information about our 25th Year Class Reunion coming via snail mail. Although the reunion is being held this September, I guess you can never start planning too early. Gawddddd............I know 43 isn't old, but it feels like only yesterday that I was in high school. Where in the hell did the time go? Does life really go buy that fast? I'm gonna have to think long and hard about going to this one..................everyone getting "fat" and "bald" LOL. Went to my 20th..............and that was an eye opener. Anyone here go to HS reunions past the 20th year reunion?

The old saying "Guns don't kill, people do" holds just as true today. None of my civilian guns ever got out of the vault and killed people on their own. Having said that, I do believe there are people who shouldn't own them. Guns aren't the only instruments used in either intentional or accidental deaths...............cars, planes, knives, bare hands, chains, screwdrivers, bricks, ice picks, drugs, baseball bats, ropes, pillows, alcohol, sharpened edges of credit cards, razor blades, kitchen utinsels "ms?", rocks, motorcycles, boats, water, electricity, broken bottles, boxing, tire irons, wire, fireplace pokers, everday belts one wears, boots/shoes laces........and the list goes on indefinitely. Human responsibility - not gun eradication. -
How many jumpsuits or skydiving outfits do you have?
Luv2Fall replied to Jessica's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Just one.................a Bev RW suit I bought off of Ebay..........couldn't pass it up as it's hard to find a used suit for someone who is 6'4". I just tape up to booties and go. Thinking of having something a bit looser in fit for later on though. -
That's so awesome.........kudos to both you and your dad.
