congrats

I cannot hardly stand the wait any longer.I find myself consumed with this its in everything I do and think,man I am ready just need a little heat. I read a post a day or two ago and they talked of temps. in the 60's sounded so wonderful,but makes me itch that much more ,I can see myself doing a little winter traveling next year, either south or west,hopefully if all is right with the universe

Weather is nasty up here shouldn't be long though(I hope)for warmer weather looking foward to the DZ to open back up just so I can go out there

I took the time to research before I did my 1st tandem, took the 4th weekend to find the place I went to and it was well worth the wait.I met some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life.They took the time to approach me and find out what I was wanting to do.The first weekend I just watched/lurked didn't even try to inquire about anything a skydiver landed took off his rig and started talking with me, told me instead of going straight into AFF to try a tandem 1st,glad I took his advice.I feel it gave me some insight to what was to be expected,the next weekend I took my first plane ride wow what a view 10500 ft.door opens I look out (1st jumper in line)and I new right then this was the thing I had been searching for total freedom.The next weekend I did 2 more tandem jumps weather got cold and I started searching the web when I found this site.It is really nice to be able to learn while waiting for weather to break.I am very anxous to get started.Thanks to all for the nice welcome this site kicks butt

After I jumped I tried to find someone that might want to go with me,boy was I surprised I thought everyone wanted to jump out of an airplane. I then got all the questions of why and what for. I don't even try to answer I just shake my head and look up. I know why and thats good enough for me

I have been itching to go up there (Greene County) I have heard a lot of good things about that DZ no doubt I will be up there this spring looking around hopefully I will see you and cash in on that beer

Hello to all I wanted to start off by giving thanks to the administrator and moderators of this site.I have been on here reading valuable information from numerous posts which has helped me quit a bit.My name is Don I did my first of three tandem jumps Oct. 2002 and I can honestly say it was the most beautiful experience I have ever had in my 33 yrs. of life,since then all I can really concentrate on is starting my student training.For me it was something I watched on TV and said ooooh I want to try that not for the speed or rush but when I seen a skydiver I seen a thing that I can only describe as beauty,pure and simple.Well before I bore you all to death with my ramblings I just want to say hello to all of you beautiful freefalling humans that trully live your lives to the fullest
