I've got one if Brian Germain's 20 sq. ft. kites. Haven't flown it a lot since I tore my ACL flying it a few years back. Let's just say I wa working on my ground hops when I took it though its power zone in the middle of a gust and, well, let's just say I had enough time while airborne to think about how bad the landing was going to hurt. I can rewind, but it's just gotten slow in it's old age when going from the end to the beginning of the tape. It still works fine for looking over single jumps and whatnot, but since I'm bored now during the day I'm pulling footage to make a video and rewinding some 50 hours of footage is going to take forever. Detached Ribs on My Spine...

I've had a couple of dislocated ribs on my upper chest (the heads were dislocated on the sternal attachment). Yes, chiropractic adjustments are good but you should also think about following that up with a good massage therapist. Most of the time what happens is the muscle gets so used to trying to pull the ribs back into place (or holding them in general in your case), once the ribs go back to their normal location the muscle will spasm and not know what to do (so to speak). Once they "heal", you can expect them to kinda "dislocate" on their own every now and then, even if you just sit wrong or bend kinda funny. Just follow the same treatment when that happens. After a while (maybe a year or two), things will finally settle down and you'll probably forget that this ever happened. My fav is either Copper or Winter Park/Mary Jane. Copper is nice as they have a good variety of terrain...it is also owned by the same company that owns Whistler (I believe). It is only about 30 min from Vail but you don't have the "snobbish" crowd. Mary Jane up at the Park is also nice. There are a lot of good runs, especially if you like trees. Because of the higher elevation you will usually have a little more powder.
