    Thanks everyone for their assistance. Packing was the problem, I rushed it, it's 100% my fault... an expensive lesson to learn. I have sent it to a well respected rigger to take a look at. Icarus have wrote to me to say both stabilisers would need replacing if I sent it back to their factory at a cost of 700 USD. (250 per stabiliser plus VAT and labour).

    Hi everyone. Had a bad day today... as the title suggests... Can anyone give me any info on the repair work required for the rip (see attached pic), as far as tears go - it's big... but I have no idea about rigging. Before I pass the canopy to a rigger can anyone suggest what is involved/how much it will cost approx etc It is a Safire 2 170, around 10 years old but still like new with less than 150 jumps.
