Suga-Mafia Festival, Skydive Chicago...
flysister replied to melstarr's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Registration with any boogie covers the cost to the dropzone for having the event. With this particular event there are costs for the party on Saturday night, Yoga instructor each morning, organizers slots, etc. I hate it that the registration seems to be too much for some. Come and see us and I promise you will not feel ripped off. This is going to be a good one... Vallerina, you should at least come with your hot teammates for the party on Sat night and jump with us on Sunday. Don't miss the whole thing because of a meet.... Brooke PMS #1 -
Suga-Mafia Festival, Skydive Chicago...
flysister replied to melstarr's topic in Events & Places to Jump
All right ladies, it is time to get the enthusiasm for this event going. If you are interested in an intense female bonding weekend then please come out and jump with us... We want all disciplines and all skill levels, but most of all we want to get to know more women in the sport of skydiving. And, to the boys...lots of hot chicks as always. Brooke PMS#1 -
Ladies, I am currently recruiting 4way teams for the Online Comp that is being held June 24/25, the same weekend as the Suga-Mafia Festival. My goal is to have at least one team but if we have a lot of interest then we can do more. The idea here is not to build the best team ever, but to expose everyone to 4way VRW/VFS. The competition will be six rounds so there is a six jump commitment on Saturday of the Suga-Mafia Festival. If you are interested then pm me... and I hope to see lots of boys and girls this summer June 23-25 at Skydive Chicago. Oh, and we would love some friendly competition from the boys... Brooke

Suga-Mafia Festival, Skydive Chicago...
flysister replied to melstarr's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Whoa! Deva and Jeanne, good to hear from some of the old school mafia. Get ready for this one though. We've been tossing this idea around for quite some time and now it is gonna happen. Skydive Chicago is the greatest venue for an event for the "Ladies". And for those of you ladies who have not had the opportunity to visit "Club Med" of skydiving, I encourage you to make this event. We are planning many things for the weekend but most importantly the focus is to combine a little something for everyone with the focus on the female spirit. So, I'm excited and I hope to see lots of ladies at Skydive Chicago this summer. Brooke PMS#1 -
Rodriguez Brothers Family Reunion Boogie ROLL CALL

Of course, I'm in and ready to make sure that every girl has a PMS #. This is going to be a good one!!!!!! Brooke PMS#1 -
In the midst of the most tragic year of my life I am so saddened by the loss of my dear friend Waldo. I want everyone who knew and loved him how sorry I am for the loss. I know he was impacted by the tragedy in the Gulf Region and he was there for me when Hurricane Katrina took my father. He helped so many and never asked for anything in return. I will miss you, Waldo Love, Brooke

You guys kick ass. I have received so many things so far and Arlo is heading up to add the Florida contingent to it. I have spent the past couple of days reconnecting with several friends and the list of people that need things is definitely long. Just to give some background...I grew up in the Bay St. Louis/Waveland area. I am a third generation resident of the area. The devastation is completely unexplainable. Anyone who lived within a mile of the beach lost everything. They came home to their houses and found just a slab. The luckier ones still had their house standing but opened the door and found a house full of mud. Most everyone evacuated because of the wind not understanding that the water would engulf all of Bay St. Louis and Waveland. So most left with just a couple of changes of clothes. I can't explain how it feels to have mother nature strip you of all your memories, your family, and wipe away the character that had been there for over two hundred years. I hope that over time people don't forget this tragedy because it will last for decades. The rebuilding process is so monumental especially for those who lost everything. I will keep everyone posted on my travels to Mississippi next week. I love each and everyone of you for your generosity. Love, Brooke

7th Skydive Atlanta Halloween Freefly Festival!!!!
flysister replied to ianmdrennan's topic in Events & Places to Jump
If Erin and Eric are posting then I figured it was a go for me to do it too. Of course, Chris and I will be there and I am working on an all girls VRW team for Friday, so look out boys. Wouldn't it suck to get beat by some girls. Can't wait to see everyone, Brooke -
I would really like to know if there are any Kerry supporters out there that make above $75,000/year...... Don't just reply with a yes......tell me what you do for a living and if you are a business owner.........etc. I would like to have a genuine discussion with all those interested.

Let me just add to the events of Friday as it relates to weather. I was parked on my couch in Orlando watching the weather and from 2pm to 4pm the storm took a dramatic turn inland and also went from a Category 2 to a Category 4 in just 1 short hour. So since we don't have crystal balls readily available you just hunker down and hope for the best. The storm rolled right over my Orlando and by 11pm it was gone. You just can't move planes at the drop of a dime. My thoughts and prayers go to everyone in Lake Whales. Brooke PMS #1

What kind of FF air games would you go to?
flysister replied to totalbodypilot's topic in Freeflying
Colon, I sure hope you are considering some events that don't involve the ball. Scrambles are definitely a lot of work but also a lot of fun. What about speed star rounds for head down with teams of 4, 6, etc. I personally don't have any ball experience and feel really excluded if the comps are just ball jumps. Ya hear me whining.............:>) Just some more ideas............ Brooke PMS#1 -
Of course, I'm in..............and thanks Denise Brooke PMS #1

flysister replied to flysister's topic in Events & Places to Jump
The weekend of May 8-9th Gold Coast Skydivers in Moss Point, MS is hosting a 60-way Invitational. So with 3 Otters on hand and Anomaly from Spaceland organizing all weekend it should prove to be quite a weekend for the Freeflyers. Of course, the Pink Mafia will also be hosting the usual "Pink" Festivities. So ladies come make your initiation jump with one of the local sisters. Hope to see you there, Brooke PMS #1 -
To all of the girls traveling to our Mardi Gras Boogie, please remember to pack your pink attire for parties on Saturday night of both weekends. We are going to be taking many group photos. Here's to uniting the girls!!!!!!!!! Brooke PMS#1
