  1. After you deploy your canopy and you reach up to unstow your brakes, well, how do you reach up with your arms restrained by the wings? Do you unzip your arms? As you guys know Im new to this whole deal, and have never seen a birdman in action, besides in videos. If anyone could supply me with an online instruction manual, Id love to read more into it. Thanks.
  2. It let me in all of a sudden. Weird. I gotta say, that 10 minute video of the Sweden Herc Boogie was freaking awesome. You guys are nuts. keep the vids rolling in
  3. I download maybe 3 videos, then it asks for login information. i tried to use my user name and password from here but it obviously didnt work. I dont know where to sign up. Any ideas? Thanks
  4. Ok, say you are at the Bonneville salt flats, you build a custom made sled, with wheels and tires capable of 120+mph speeds on salt/sand and large enough to stabilize someone standing on it. You put your Birdman suit and rig on, and stand on the sled. Now, you hook a 2000 (or longer if you desire) foot ski rope to your mid section, with some sort of quick release, and then hook it to the back of a car. This car slowly accelerates to whatever speed it finds necessary for you to fly. Now you fly up in the air and over the car, and cut away. Glide for a few moments and open your canopy. Is the birdman suit capable of creating enough lift for a stunt like this to be possible? Just another of my crazy ideas.
  5. Hi, im new to this forum, and I must say its awesome. I just got into skydiving last summer, and completed AFF by my 7th jump. I have 11 jumps now, and next spring I should have my A class liscense. Ive been interested in wingsuits forever and one day will fly one of my own. Ive got a ways to go though. Does anyone know Damian Hrdlicka? He is one of my instructors here in Wichita at Skydive Wichita. Anyway keep up the good work, and if anyone can point me to some videos it would be greatly appreciated. You guys rock!!! :)
