I was on a little vacation in Barcelona for a week and decided to try and do some jumping while abroad. I managed to get the WhatsApp number for the dropzone and talked to them a little bit about logistics. I was able to take a Renfe train from Barcelona to Manresa. The dropzone staff offers free pickup and drop off at the Manresa - Alta train station. The staff at the dropzone were very nice. Most people spoke very limited English, so knowing at least some Spanish is very helpful. The dz is well organized, with a front office building and separate check in for fun jumpers and tandems. Manifest is on the side of the check in building and the woman working it was very friendly. They also have a small bar on site with drinks and food. The hanger is quite large and there are lockers to keep your stuff safe. Lots of room for packing, and their rental equipment was quite nice. I am 5'2'' and jumping ~170 canopy, and they had a 169 XFire rig that was really nice, and fit me better than any rental gear I've tried at my home DZ. Prices weren't too bad. 30 Euros for a jump, and 18 per jump for the rental. That includes pack job (they don't let you pack it yourself). It took a while to get on a load when I first got there, and then there was a weather delay during the middle of the day. But I was still able to jump 4 times, with my first jump around noon. I would recommend this DZ. Instructors are friendly, and all the rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Local fun jumpers were also very nice and inclusive!
