chris, I'm just replying as a "pity post", to let you know that at least 1 other person replyed to your post, hahahaha. ok heres one: I hate packing students all day... it makes me so sore. oh heres another: Make sure not to pull on my handle during this 3-way, or I'll dump right in your face. that sounds really bad. Luckily, I've never had any kind of problem like that (cross fingers). Sometimes I sleepwalk, but its always the same: I "wake up" at around 1 am, go take a shower, get dressed, and sometime around this point I finally look at my watch and yell "shit!". then I have to change and go back to sleep. but none of that scary shadow hallucination stuff... that would scare the shit outta me. mine is what my college assigned me as an email id. I just started using it pretty much everywhere on the internet. I know, I need a better name, and a better story. MB 3528, RB 1182

NOT an RSL Debate, just a question regarding the cutaway...
bch7773 replied to Ruffles's topic in Gear and Rigging
How likely is that to really happen? Has anybody ever died from it? I'm just trying to figure out how important is really is to disconnect it... I mean if I'm at 2000 feet with a downplane, I'll do it, but what if my cypres gives me a 2 out downplane at 700 feet? Is it more important to disconnect the RSL or to save time, which can be used to find a good landing spot? MB 3528, RB 1182 -

Jaws got me a bit too. We had a nice in-ground swimming pool when I was a kid...and for some stupid reason, I thought Jaws could slip in through the drain. Also, swimming in lakes or worse yet, the ocean, was never quite the same afterwards. oh god that was the worse... especially those creepy cold spots when you're swimming in a lake... I always thought it meant jaws was right under me. MB 3528, RB 1182

are they possibly too big, or in a different format (for example .bmp 's instead of .jpg 's.)??? it sounds stupid, but sometimes my email won't send a picture thats like over a megabyte, but it just gives back some unspecified error code. MB 3528, RB 1182

hmmm your the president of our club and you don't have enough money... do the enron thing no no, don't do that. we need that money for a casa at ksupc. you can try to do what I'm doing... if your work is cutting hours, call in every day and check to see if anyone called in sick. Or, ask your fellow employees if you can work any of their scheduled hours that they can't or don't want to work. MB 3528, RB 1182

good news everybody, I just bought a raft off of ebay for a raft jump. so at least one raft jump will be done on the 4th!!!!!!!! also, does anybody know where I can get dropzone.com stickers? I'm thinking about sticking one on the front of the raft, in case there are pictures, so then we can post a dz.com raft jump picture on here. and check out the raft... I payed $1.25 for it lol MB 3528, RB 1182 -
Massive head ake and ear presuure, help please!
bch7773 replied to bennypr2002's topic in Safety and Training
not trying to hijack here, but has anybody ever jumped, and then later noticed that their ears made crackling noises for a few days afterwords? I had this happen after my first jump from 14k, and one of my ears made crackling or popping noises for a couple of days. Is this normal for jumps from 14k, or did i pop an eardrum or something? people who have broken their eardrums, how did you know that you broke yours? MB 3528, RB 1182 -
if your profile is correct, and you have 6 jumps, you may wanna wait a bit before doing this... the people at your dz told you correct, however, I think a cooler exit out of a 182 is: crouch on the step, facing the strut, then grab onto your knees, and just roll backwards off the step... it looks really cool on video, and its pretty fun too. also, once you roll off backwards, if you stay tucked up, you will get spinning pretty fast- also fun. Whoever had been injured the most was the coolest? boy1: I've had 10 stiches boy2: oh yeah, well I've had 11! boy1: well, I've broken my toe too, so I'm much cooler than you! MB 3528, RB 1182
