I agree that non-skydivers can't handle it. I had a boyf who was scared of the thought of skidiving and hated me going coz he thought I'd spend the whole time snogging skydivers...so I dumped him and started snogging skydivers

I have just ordered a new rig and opted for a reserve static line, but am still not convinced that the pros outwiegh the cons. I have this fear about spinning out of control and my reserve wrapping around me. Any thoughts?

Al a bit complicated - I jump at Lanager when I am in the UK, but am based in Belgium now and the first time I'll get chance to jump it will be out in Empuria - far from the expertise of Milko and Richard. Any ideas who should I speak to there?

Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. I am Langar-trained, but moved to Brussels a few months ago and so am now jumping in Belgium. Not known for it's good weather over here I have not jumped since November! Beautiful blue skies today though and the runway and landing area were cleared of snow yesterday, so my first jump of the year will hopefully be tomorrow! Jo x

A mate of mine recently had a breakline fire and was told that if he had released the other break he would not have needed to cut it away. Is it really that simple to recover from a breakline fire?

Am having a nightmare trying to find insurance for my new rig! Anyone got any advice where I can cover my rig against theft/loss/damage when at home and whilst travelling or a travel insurance that cover personal possessions more than £1500?
