    For the Military Freefall School you have to be 1. a military freefall instructor. 2. 200 freefall jumps. 3. go through the video course which last 5 days of classes and jumping. 4. to film tandems you have to have 500 jumps and 100 video jumps.

    Go to www.skydiveelsinore.com Get the phone number to the office. If you call the drop zone they will tell you how to get in contact with him. He doesn't work at the DZ just jumps there. They will most likely give you his number they have it.

    I love my Bat Rak, I would post a pic of it but its been taken apart to do some reconfiguration to it. I have a PC100 in a roll cage and a Strobo Frame for my still camera. I also have a sharks fin I can put on it. I have a concentric ring sight but the post is bent down so it doesn't stick out. The thing that sucks is that they stopped making it so I hope when I want some new liners they have some. The replacement helmet they make now is the Gun Rack I don't know anyone that has one but they don't look that good to me. I know Quade has a Bat Rack to. They can be a bit top heavy but there worth it. SHINDIG

    What exactly does that thing hook to, the only remotes I have are for Rebel cameras, there all stereo jacks, I don't know what I have to do to make that thing work. Is there any cutting and tapping involved in this process for this remote?

    First of all lets just say I bought the new Canon 300D and I don't like the Buffer speed. I miss a lot of shots that would be nice so I'm sending it back and getting the 10D but my neck is going to pay the price. What I need and I know it's been discussed on here before but I couldn't find what I was looking for is the remote switch for the 10D and what I can use. Your help would be greatly apriciated.     skydive elsinore now offers DVD for Tandems and AFF they bought a Sony and had to buy another one the day they started offering the jumps in DVD because of the demand for it. Now about 75 percent of there videos are on DVD now. It's just like having a VCR and just as quick to produce the results. They even advertise it on there web site.

    what size card do you guys use for your 10ds and any other digital camera. I just ordered the 300rebel and should get it this week. I have no idea about digital pics so I'm learning. also what format do you take the pics in RAW and how many can you hold doing that. I ordered a 1G card.

    FireFly suits are the best I think. I have 9 of them and about every camera guy at my DZ wears one. Especially the 2 peace suits. You can do so much with a 2 peace its unreal. And yea I do have 9 of them.

    Ebay is a good place to find gear. I've bought a couple cameras from there. Another good place to look is the actual stores like best buy. ask them for the open box items. Dirt cheap and good condition.

    I'm the guy in charge of all the video equipment out that the military freefall school in yuma az. I have about every TRV there is and the 70 is the worst of them all for the pure fact of the location of all the plug ins. You would have to cut a ton of holes in your Dbox if that's what you use. I've resorted to stroboframing the thing to the helmet it is on. I wish they would start making the cameras with the controls on the outside like the trv11 and pc100 but thats wishful thinking

    The new Canon D10 is here and the price of the D60 is coming down. On Ebay alone it has come down 500.00 in the last week. Has anyone seen the new D10 on sale anywhere. They are saying it will be 2000.00 and on the street for 1500.00 Paul I figure your the only one to ask this question to. What do you see is the major differences in the 2 cameras.     They fly that camera out at elsinore ever once in a while. The guys who fly it get qualified at lake elsinore buy the owners of the camera system. It is basically the same one they use in traffic helos.

    I didn't have to have anything fused thank god they almost did but they decided not to.

    Got a serious question for all you guys. I'm a camera flyer and I recently broke my back actually compressed T 4&5 Vertibrate 4 broken ribs and compressed sternum. Do you know any camera flyers that have broken there back and returned to it and how long did it take them to start flying again. My doctors just don't understand why I want to fly again. I'm already starting to lighten my camera load switching from my roll cage to stroboframes etc. Let me know guys its driving me nuts to get in the sky again it's been 3 months now and I figure I still have another 3 months.
