Guess all these curious people now know the outcome of amorous freefall! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

This GoPro setup is the end of outside tandem video..

Okay, that just looks spooky. I mean the still (almost appearing photoshopped) head on a moving body! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Right shoulder dislocation a couple of years ago. ER doc stated it was the worst he'd ever seen. Sedation and two doctor's strength to reduce it. Two non displaced fractures. Torn biceps and supraspinatus tendons. Damaged suprascapular and long thoracic nerves. Took 6 months of both personal and clinic based physical therapy, plus surgery, to get it healed. Length of time was lengthy due to the damaged nerves, which thankfully -did- regrow. The surgeon's opinion was they wouldn't....but we showed him! Shoulder is about 80% now, which is the best it'll be, I believe. Got back into skydiving (cameraflying, so hanging on the outside of the plane) just shy of 6 months. As one who also works in physical therapy, who specializes in orthopedic and neuro care, my advice is to take your time and do it right. What you do in your recovery will affect you the rest of your life. Being impulsive and getting back into it before it's completely healed will do you no favors. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Huh?? Oh, Blue +, Blue ShiXX. Nope, Aetna. Can't believe they'd pay for the surgery, but not the complete therapy, even on a rationed basis. Really? I have Aetna PPO and got 60 treatments of P.T. after my shoulder injury. Could have received even more, if needed, but the 60 was the norm per calendar year, no questions asked. I heard about one called a "Cheese-It" (yeah, like the cracker). It's supposed to be 4 slices of cheese, grilled by themselves, stacked together, until it's crisp on the outside and still gooey on the inside with melted cheese. THEN placed in the toasted bun. Haven't found a place that knows how to make it, but still looking. Sounds incredibly good! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Surprised no one has brought up Steve Wozniak's software clue. Here's a man who knows a bit about the subject . . . See: http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/02/11/prius.cruise.control/index.html Then again, it might just be that new fangled cruise control toggle. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

But they -will- hydroplane on water. Brother did a 360 in the middle of a very wet freeway. Never do that again. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Otherwise known as Saturday Night Palsy or Honeymooner's Palsy. Pretty funny how this article reports young healthy men can develop this syndrome. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

If memory serves, my 1969 Dodge Dart (slant 6) also had this make-up. Good car. Ran forever. Easy engine to work on, too. Sigh, wish modern cars were as uncomplicated these days . . . ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

insert scary thought here: . . . If he's having a child, and you hook up with him, you -are- in essence a "Mom". Albeit a step-mom, but you get the drift. His 'baggage' becomes your own. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

El Nino has visited Elsinore more than once over the years. Had to smile at this web page which listed 'Corydon Road' and a sign for 'Fill Dirt Wanted' during the 1980 flood. (about 1/2 way down the page). The article also mentions Skylark airport as a 'World Class Skydiving Dropzone'. Nice to know the town recognizes the contribution to their community! http://www.lake-elsinore.org/index.aspx?page=418 ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Live feed of Wikiki's beach. Looks like the same there. Hilo reporting predicted 8 foot waves. http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/99999999/MOGULUS02/399990001&template=mogulus edit to add, guess their servers are overwhelmed as they are down now. Just saw that on the news as well. Along with the upgrade. Wow! First Japan, then Chile. The immediate video that NBC was broadcasting was showing cars, driving on the road, skidding and crashing! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35615455/ns/world_news-americas/ Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

In this El Nino season, a question arose with some friends . . . A little discovery trying to answer why so many worms are on the sidewalk every time it rains . . . ? http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/372/why-do-worms-crawl-on-the-sidewalk-after-it-rains ( and no, it's not to avoid drowning ) Who knew that humans and worms had so much in common! A bit more news info that agrees with what you've stated here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35566392/ I'll copy a few paragraphs of the 2 page article, in case it disappears. Much more is stated than what I've copied. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Can I Play a Movie on my Truck DVD Screen From an IPhone??
ltdiver replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Hooked my iPhone up to a digital projector and was able to give a cool presentation at work last week. Just know that you'll only be able to watch Quicktime movies and slide shows with those cables connected to an external device. As some learned computer geeks have suggested, use "Handbrake" to convert your DVD's to iPhone files. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
San Diego's Wild Animal Park has one as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaYygpX0emc Lift height, per one web site, is reported to be 400 feet. Perhaps ask this guy who's video'd climbing it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCy3M8F-9gw ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yes, this is true. Yet, while the man was still lucid and ambulatory he could have made the trip. When the first calls were made. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Why not just get a plain ol' child's sled and let the guy lay down in it and get towed down to the paramedics on the corner? Geeze! Those guys need to have their head examined! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
