0:8:0 Cool Iron Crank competition at Perris this weekend! "First Place Team" took first place! YahooLV on video!

Good post. When I visited a small dz in Finland they didn't believe in seat belts (didn't even have them installed on their Cessna 206). When I asked about where the seat belts were, they just laughed and said they weren't needed. Sad commentary to say the least, since I come from a dz that will remember the 10 year anniversary of one of the worst skydiving crashes on record this year. Date April 22, 1992. If seatbelt had been in use, lives might have been saved...projectiles -are- deadly! ltdiver __________________________________________ http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver

nacmacfeegle! I'm keeping an 'eye' on you! Actually, I envision someone walking out to find their cutaway pillow or shoe and discovering it amongst the weeds! Imagine their horror when they first see my eye [giggle] Oh the stories I could tell you all about what us monocular people do to others! ltdiver __________________________________________ http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver

In RW, the vidiot takes the center at break off, but what about VRW? Reading the article in Skydiving Mag on freeflying, (page 9) made me wonder. Besides this, seems that freeflyers ALL have cameras on their noggins! NOW who gets the right of way? ;^) ltdiver a RW vidiot __________________________________________ http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver

Very cool ! Like someone said a couple of years ago, "it's a long, lonely drive". Paid my dues back in 1996, 97, 98,and 99 with long flights and drives alone :^) Better to share it with a friend now.

Just completed figurin' my taxes and added up all the milage my car ran last year. Drove to the dz 80 times in 2001 and racked up 5600 miles there and back! Geeze! How many miles did you guys drive to skydive last year? (counting the refund now! Get ready Skybytch for a new canopy order soon!) ltdiver __________________________________________ http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver

Visted Fayetteville and Raeford back in1997. Got to peek inside the wind tunnel at Fort Bragg too!

True...he did fracture his foot, but that's not what caused his amputation. He developed Osteomyelitis (bone infection) that just wouldn't clear. After battling that for years, he finally gave up the fight and told the doc to cut it off. What a nightmare! ltdiver __________________________________________ http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver

Lost my prosthetic eye in freefall! Forgot to put my goggles down for a jump! My JM got shit for -that- one! (not from me, but from the other instructors! I was just embarressed!) (and out about $1,000 to replace it). ltdiver __________________________________________ http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver

Then you get the team name "Flat People"! They -come- from the planet "Splat"! Actually, there was a team with this name back in the early '90's!
