  1. Just purchased a stiletto manufactured in Feb. of '02. Less than 100 jumps on canopy...should the line trim still be okay? Time doesn't factor into shrinking? Anything else besides use factor into trim changes? Please advise...
  2. Aaahhhh... I'll give it a try. Thanks. Never Give up! Never Surrender!
  3. My loops are usually pasted to the fronts and I have to take a second or two to get fingers in there. I would like to have more user friendly loops that would take only a quick glance to make sure I've put my fingers in the correct place. Has anyone had experience modifying loops...i.e. stitching to redirect loops to create a small notch for easier access? Any other ideas? As an aside...most well broken in risers have the dive loops hanging very nicely...however, my risers aren't there yet. Please advise. Thanks.
  4. I started on a Sabre2 170 and now have a sabre2 150. I flake the nose twice...initially and then just before I roll the tail....then quarter the slider....pull up the slider about 1" above the nose(make sure the nose is nice and open). This has produced the best openings so far. Usually have to pull on the rears to bring the slider down all the way and sometimes I get an offheading...but otherwise nice openings.....does that help?
  5. I have tried to look at the bag, as an experiment, several times......it happens so fast and I'm not an owl....e.g. I can't turn my head that far around. Therefore, even though I tried to see it several times, I've never witnessed the bag on deployment. I've had this discussion with Scott Miller and he recommends not watching your canopy on opening. You will know if you have a mal! Make sure to check for line overs, broken lines, etc.....sometimes you won't feel them right off......but the point is you should look out for other skydivers on opening. Hands on the rears and heads up throughout the opening. Maybe this is a bit off topic but I felt I would post anyway....... Never Give up! Never Surrender!
