No, but have you ever tried threading a lace whithout a platic tip, through a shoe eyelet . The chest strap material is quite soft, compared to the previous student kit I used. You are remembered for the rules you break. Douglas MacArthur

I have recently reinforced the tip of my chest strap, to make it easier to thread through the buckle. However, I am concerned the tape glue may have an adverse affect on the chest strap material. The composition of the reinforcement is gaffers tape, and black electrical tape. Will it cause a problem? You are remembered for the rules you break. Douglas MacArthur
