  1. I see, but I still just don't care. Let them do as they like. That group likes to set its own rules, not follow them, then howl about others not following their own rules. I haven't given them $0.02 of credibility in years. But that could be my dislike of their platform clouding my thoughts. Still, I just don't give a rats ass what they do at their convention. I'm not a member and don't have (or want) a voice in that regard. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  2. And you should read a bit more carefully. Or did the names McCain and Feingold elude you? Oh! Wait! I SEE! Since they BOTH accomplished something, that doesn't do for you! Aha! Just can't let go of that mechanism, eh? So Scotty Pippen and Michael Jordan never had any individual accomplishments while playing for the Bulls together years ago in your book, eh? BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA! Bullshit. Taft-Hartley, McCain-Feingold, Goldwater-Nichols, and many other acts highlight the accomplishments of the individuals who got them through the legislative process. Face facts - your theory has no water and is no more than a defensive mechanism to avoid facing facts. Let's go back a bit further and find an act named after one person...the Wagner Act. How about that one? Bwaaaahahahahahaaaaa!!! Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  3. I'm not a Democrat and really don't care. Let them do as they like - it's their party after all.
  4. ROFLMFAO! But the surface ones came first, so dolphin envy could refer to the envy of bubbleheads over their surface brethren...or targets as they might say! Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  5. You're always good for a laugh. Nice to see your defensive mechanism is alive and well. And it's laughable. Why don't you try something logical - like 'Senator Obama didn't serve enough time in the Senate to accomplish much compared to his more experienced colleagues' vice this inane argument you've concocted? Then again - don't. I always enjoy a a laugh - and laughs galore I get in here! You've yet to catch several other who have sent me into gales of laughter, but keep going and maybe you'll make me laugh as hard as they have in the past. Nobody's done that lately, come to think of it. I should come in here more often. I digress. Ignoring the fact that a bill's sponsor accomplishes something by getting a bill all the way through the House, Senate, and President is absolutely hilarious. As if all the other senators and representatives do the same amount of work to get it through. Think that it's not an accomplishment if it makes you feel better. I think that it IS an accomplishment because it's a pretty much cut and dried fact. This applies to any bill...let's pick one I DON'T like...McCain-Feingold for instance. Senators McCain and Feingold put TONS of work into this (along with their staffs...that should be obvious, but since you brought it up...) and...drumroll...accomplished something by getting it through. Tada! Lincoln said something cool about facts...I think it was something to the effect of 'facts are stubborn things. Run as one might from them, they remain the same.' Or something like that. Cheerio! I now you'll come up with some odd way of ignoring facts yet again. Try and be more creative and maybe you'll have me rolling on the floor. Until then, cheerio! 6. Bwaaaaaahahahahahaaaaa! How nice. Your defense mechanism is still functioning nicely I see. I've read the Constitution several times, thank you, BTW. If you'd actually follow politics a bit more carefully, you'd know that Senators and Representatives have to put quite a lot of work getting a bill from genesis to law. Lots of leadership and organizational skills involved there. Getting a bill from proposal, through committees, markup, and the like IS quite an accomplishment. Face that fact - or don't face it and continue with your defense mechanism. A fact it doth remain. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  7. And how many of his sponsored bills passed the House and Senate?
  8. Who's the dumbshit that wrote this article? The wings YN1(AW) Morgan has on her uniform are the aviation enlisted specialist wings - not an easy thing to obtain and certainly not handed out like candy. They've been around for quite some time - this fellow hasn't been around the fleet very much. Perhaps he should do some research prior to writing another article. Not really sure his comments about the trials being in medical in San Diego are correct either - when I was over at the clinic a few weeks ago I didn't see anything new. 9. I think McCain is going to surprise everyone with his VP choice. I'm hoping for Governor Palin of Alaska.
  10. On another note, if B.O. actually wins I would have preferred Gov. Richardson as his VP. I think he was the best of the Dem bunch running.
  11. Oh I'm quite happy about this...
  12. No. I only come here for entertainment purposes. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  13. Very true. I think it should be lowered to 18...have no issue with it, actually.
  14. Billvon I HOPE he picks Sen. Clinton or former Sen. Daschle.
  15. I think Gov. Richardson would be the best choice for the democrats...let's hope he chooses someone else!
  16. If Sen. Stevens is guilty, I hope he's found so and goes to prison. Now, in case you didn't notice, the article I posted was about Sen Obama. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  17. This is really sad. Wonder what the bastard's motives were? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  18. I didn't state that the article talked about corporations cheating on their taxes. I stated it was a rant about corporate greed. Read. Your mechanism for dealing with Senator Obama's inexperience continues to give me a chuckle. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  19. Perhaps you read a different article. Let's summarize: - Mr. Cho opens with a nice snazzy title 'Many Firms Pay No Taxes' - He then shows he hasn't a clue about the difference between taxable revenues and sales. He mentions the sales total and NOT the taxable revenue to let his readers know those mean ole corporations took in a lot in sales...then they had the GALL to claim that their production costs, operating expenses, and debt precluded them from counting that entire sales amount as taxable revenue...the mean ole bad ole meany meany meany corporations... - After getting his readers worked up, he puts in a one liner about the GAO not stating that they didn't analyze any of the corporations to see if they had any income that should have been taxed. Golly gee, gosh darn - after all that ruckus in the preceding paragraph to get the reader (especially the ignorant dumbfucks) riled up about the mean ole corporations. One line. Oh darn. - After this one liner, we have Senator Dorgan going off about corporate profits. Now the dumbfucks among the readers will see profits and go to the trillion $$ figure Mr. Cho mentions in para 2 upon reading this. Mr. Cho is fully aware of that, no doubt. - Mr. Cho quotes Mr. Toder, who apparently hadn't seen the GAO Article that is available on GAO's website. - We next see that about 279 of 998 large corporations - 998 out of 1.3 million nationwide being categorized as large - paid no taxes. Only it's called 28% of all large corporations and not 279 out of 998. More ominous to use 28% I suppose. - Mr. Cho closes with comments regarding Sen. Dorgan and Sen Levin's purpose in requesting the study, some stats about foreign corporations paying no taxes, and a little line from Sen. Levin so we all know he cares. Sounds to me like a 'let's incite corporate greed' piece without factual data to back it up. But that's just me. Given the fact that you believe Senators and Representatives can accomplish nothing under the auspices of their elected offices, I can see why you might not want to see it that way. 20. "The GAO did not analyze whether the firms had profits that should have been taxed" The above from the article. It's nothing more than Mr. Cho ranting about corporate greed during an election year. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  21. Good news Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  22. Interesting. I think the death penalty is used a bit often myself, but have no issue with it philosophically either. Even with a narrower scope, I think judges and prosecutors,as gov't employees, need to take a REALLY close look at costs when they think about the death penalty. If it costs less to keep the bastard alive, then why go for it? WE'RE BROKE! In some cases, like the recent scumbag who raped the Pena girl and confessed remorselessly, good riddance/burn in hell. THe world is a better place with him out of it. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
