  1. The laughing emoji is appropriate, given how long he took to get it
  2. Like your multiple 'red wave' predictions?
  3. But nobody said a mass shooting would surely result. So, you're just making stuff up.
  4. Brent has to rely on things nobody says in this forum to argue against. He'd lose otherwise.
  5. Sorry that happened to you. But it's not your fault for not being armed and vigilant 24/7. It's the failure of your community for allowing the root causes of the attack to happen.
  6. You should also have a similar setup in the bathroom so the bad guys can't get you while you're in the shower.
  7. Considering how often he uses brain-dead "gotchas", "checkmates" and fishing metaphors, he bit into that one pretty hard and you were replying to kallend (who was replying to jakee...)
  8. Wouldn't this kill the argument that guns can be used for self defence? "Good guys with a gun" will lose a lot of time trying to open a safe...
  9. In the talking altimeter market yes there's not much competition. I'm sure more will appear eventually. But for altimeters in general, competition has improved a lot compared to, say, 2014 when it was practically just 2 companies.
  10. That's rich. Your "predictions" are just guesses, which is why you don't put numbers in. The NOAA puts a lot of numbers into their work, which they then write in simpler terms for people in their press releases. You're just doing a useless job of "re-translating" their press releases to fit your agenda. As if you understood the numbers behind it
  11. Of course you'll succeed, it's all about lying to yourself. Then believing it. It's all about quoting the NOAA and ignoring the first sentence in their annual summary news article, and ignoring their official position regarding climate change. It's all about arguing with that lib in your head, and winning.
  12. Good effort, but unfortunately Brent's "predictions" relies on being vague. You're not going to get numbers out of him.
  13. It's the only way he "wins", really, to create a caricature liberal in his head that he can argue against. Like how he "predicts" that emissions will continue to rise in 2023. Literally NOBODY is predicting otherwise, so why make that "prediction"? So he can "win", he can't really win otherwise.
  14. Why Arctic sea ice? As your friend Slim King recently found out, if floating sea ice melts it doesn't change the sea level at all. Blew his mind! In the Antarctic, ice melted to near-record lows. Nice how you cherry-picked the Arctic. 6th warmest while having a La Nina is actually a record, so you're already quite wrong on 2022. But the La Nina is now gone, so let's check back on this next year. This is the most brain-dead "prediction" of all. "I predict the sun will rise tomorrow, checkmate!" You need to stop arguing with that lib in your head.
  15. You didn't make the "top five" prediction. It wasn't yours to begin with, so stop claiming checkmate. Your prediction was, "No record warming". That's it.
  16. Actually Brent's prediction was "no record warming", not hitting the top 5 - he can't make predictions that specific. He only added that when the NOAA said it was unlikely due to the La Nina. Still, NASA and Copernicus ranked it 5th warmest, and NOAA 6th, which is pretty damn hot for a La Nina year. Also, don't ask Brent what's the official NOAA stance on climate change. He'll suddenly need to watch the football or something.
  17. According to NASA, "A separate, independent analysis by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) concluded that the global surface temperature for 2022 was the sixth highest...NOAA scientists use much of the same raw temperature data in their analysis and have a different baseline period (1901-2000) and methodology. Although rankings for specific years can differ slightly between the records, they are in broad agreement and both reflect ongoing long-term warming." https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/nasa-says-2022-fifth-warmest-year-on-record-warming-trend-continues So no, you're not.
  18. So, despite Brent's strawman arguments (nobody was predicting 2022 would be the warmest) he STILL counted his chickens before they hatched. 2022 did indeed make it to the top five, despite the 'double-dip' La Nina that should have kept temperatures lower (as I mentioned a year ago in January). It was Europe's hottest summer on record (and 2nd warmest year overall). It was the UK's warmest year ever. Source: https://climate.copernicus.eu/2022-saw-record-temperatures-europe-and-across-world
  19. This is why you need to stop arguing with that lib living in your head. Trump's hostility to China was one of the few things I agreed with - they're a threat to the region if not the world, including their support of Russia over Ukraine. Problem is, Trump only talked tough - as soon as Xi came over he became rather timid and eager to please, kind of like how he was with Putin. Trump's policy was also brain-dead in many cases with massive loopholes. Biden has fixed them. Then don't you think it's strange the Republicans are still screaming about his "open-border policy"?
  20. lol great source You're still confused though. Must be that 'lib living rent-free in your head you keep having arguments with.
  21. I think you're overwhelmed, these are not the links requested at all.
  22. You made the claim, you prove it.
  23. I already linked to your predictions. As for your sources, link away.
  24. Absolute rubbish. Although kids have died due to Russian strikes, none were today and nowhere near that number in a day. they haven't been moving forward...unless you count retreating?
  25. In brent's numeracy a few = zero links. You must have skipped more than a few classes from kindergarten. His only other ally Slim King just found out that when ice in a glass of water melts, the level doesn't change. You can't make this up...
