  1. Yeah...Americans have nothing to offer the world except oil, and that's the only reason the dollar has value. /s Again here's an oldie thinking that tying currency to a silver or gold standard was a good thing, showing zero understanding of economics. So Winsor saying that Kamala has zero understanding of economics actually provides zero information, because he knows nothing about economics himself.
  2. Winsor says Kamala doesn't know anything about economics, when this sentence shows he doesn't know anything about economics himself. The US dollar does not derive its value entirely from oil. Believing that's the case means that he misunderstands the global economy on a very fundamental level. Also, Trump on the economy? He thinks tariffs are paid by the countries exporting to the US Let's see Brent complain about inflation dwarfing what happened under Biden...
  3. Lol, no chance of that happening. They rely on vagueness because they've got nothing really*. Like here I was trying to get Brent to make a specific prediction, just one number, and he tried very, very hard for 3+ pages to actually avoid making one, and ran away in the end. *edit to add: Also, remember Feynman's lecture that Brent posted - a vague theory cannot be disproven, which is the main benefit to Winsor and Brent.
  4. ...and yet you fail to give a single reason why she's a "moron"...
  5. At the start of 2023, Brent confidently predicted that 2023 "won't even be in the top five" (warmest years). Of course, 2023 was the hottest year ever recorded, so he didn't make any predictions this January, but has now gone to "yeah it warmed up, but nothing bad* happened!" As soon as there's a dip - and I damn hope there WILL be a dip - he'll be back to saying "it's not warming up, look this year was colder than last year!". *note how this statement violates Feynman's teaching about halfway through the Feynman lecture about the scientific method Brent posted (but didn't watch fully)
  6. Funny, but this is where you fall short of full imitation... they'd simply assume you've *never* had to make that agonizing decision because they, and only they, have any experience and knowledge. No ifs.
  7. It's such an old trick to use, when you have nothing Ego the size of a planet, this one has. "I've been to Yugoslavia and Germany and know more than anyone about those countries' problems" "I've been on a boat in a storm, and I know more about those than YOU, random internet poster" Then blocking anyone who dares question that. etc etc...
  8. This is hilarious not only do you not read your own sources, you don't even WATCH the YouTube videos you post! It was getting really annoying how conservatives would post 2-hour long YouTube videos and tell people "tell me what in the video is wrong?" or "this is PROOF!". Oh, and in case you were wondering how I was sure Brent hasn't watched the video - he's watched the first 1 minute at most After the first minute, Feynman starts teaching other things that Brent doesn't follow AT ALL.
  9. Yep, nothing there about having no lulls in hurricane activity. Thanks!
  10. The fact that you couldn't wait for the end of the season to proclaim this shows how insecure you are.
  11. Who's "they"? And was the prediction "there would be NO LULLS in activity"? As far as I remember, all I predicted was that you'd start making this thread earlier in the year, which did happen
  12. Oh really? With what P-value? You probably don't even know what that is.
  13. It's probably a projection of his own fears. As long as the US has something of value to offer to the world - technology, intellectual property, raw materials, the rest of the world will be happy to accept US dollars as payment for their things of value. Because US dollars can be used to buy those things. Heck, I'm in the UK and US dollars are worth less than a Pound Sterling, but I'd still be very happy to accept US dollars for any payments. I think Winsor is scared that he no longer has anything of value to offer to the world, and is projecting this fear into the US Treasury debt, maybe? That's the only explanation I can think of - I can't really ask him anything as he's blocked me.
  14. News just in - SC poster who's not very good with numbers fancies himself an expert in economic policy, a field which makes extensive use of...numbers.
  15. Here you are again blaming the inflation on Democrats. Many of us are not in the US but still experienced a LOT of inflation after 2020 - the supply chain disruptions due to COVID, the war in Ukraine, you keep ignoring those things for the Nth time. I guess par for the course, you look like you can't handle equations with more than one variable, you also seem to not be able to fit more than one country in your thinking too.
  16. Don't blame your arithmetic errors on me. You missed four zeros to get to that $340,000 figure.
  17. I really didn't You really want to contest this one, given that I've shown several times how bad you are at maths?
  18. Not sure you'll see this as I'm probably blocked, but this is some terrible maths. I'm pretty sure $3.4 billion / 100 million americans = $34. Unless you meant the old definition of billion as "million million" (or trillion) but that's still just $34,000. Looks like the numbers are lost on you, too.
  19. He's never been very good with numbers...but yeah. Exactly that.
  20. And here I was thinking he just had 99% of us on his ignore list...
  21. ...and he says he's not a troll Ask him if he knows what the "free markets" did when Liz Truss in the UK tried to lower taxes without balancing the budget.
  22. Have you heard his thing about polar bears and climate change? It's like he practices his buzz words in front of a mirror every evening before bed. Almost like he needs to keep trying to convince himself that it's the truth...
  23. When I see women's spaces being invaded, 100% of the time it's by men, not trans women. A lot of men are perverts and most of them don't bother all that trouble of transitioning just for invading women's spaces - they just invade them. I stand corrected, looks like you didn't understand my point either way...
  24. "cis men rape women" and you just shrug and say it's ok because men are needed to make babies? With that logic you can say all murder is OK because it helps keep the population down. Or an example you can relate with more - "Immigrants doing crimes are OK because they do important work anyway, otherwise, what would we do? Pick crops ourselves?".
