Buy a old 8mm camcorder that plays the tapes. Then transfer them to Mini DV then to computer, then to DVD. Thats how I transferred all my tapes. That was the most inexpensive way.

Here is the gopro set up that Gopro will market as there HD 3D set up. Not sure when it's coming out....

I don't think you need a box; but you will need to ensure the screen doesn't open. I use a small strap with a 1/2 buckle....

I was able to reuse a mount by using steam to get it off. I had a shark steamer which put out high pressure steam and it came off easy and the nice thing was that after it dried I remounted it in a different spot with no worries of it breaking loose....

just bought one from amazon for $331 US

I've used them. They work best with snowboard helmets. Nice fit and allows the goggles to be streamline with the helmet;no drag.........I would still be using them if they hadn't been stolen.

Try flying steeper; legs wider for stability and look back between your legs. You will feel like you are too steep but go with it. Hug that beach ball...........

I'm in Shock. My thoughts and condolences to friends and family. He was a great guy......

I'm 37 (5 years base experience) 295 base jumps.

Definately Carry it on. Airlines lose luggage all the time. Something I learned the hard way. I missed out on 2 days of jumping in Norway while waiting for my gear.

Thanks for everyones best wishes, I'm home walking around in pain and in a brace.(8-10 weeks) Fracture of T7 with no surgery required and no other injuries. Just let you know how it came to be. It was going to be exit practice for big wall jumps for future prodigy flights. I had in recent past been doing alot of sub teminal tracking jumps from a local in just my tracking pants and jacket. During this BD practice wingsuit exit jump I made a stupid decision to fly the wingsuit longer than planned while in mid flight (Not planning to pull lower at this point). Got it flying forward quickly got me excited to fly it a bit using depth perception as my warning buzzer; It certainly changes quite a bit in a wingsuit. Anyways as I reached for my pilot chute ground rush came back fast. I thought I was dead....... Why I had to push it I can't explain. I happy to be alive. Time to step back and take a break for a while re-evaluate my responsibilities to my family and friends. P.S. I am truly sorry if in any way Iv'e cast a shadow on what has allways been a wonderfull event that my family and I have enjoyed over the years. Thanks for the support Will

I weigh 203lbs and jump a 310 ace. The 310 is great. I do believe that the 310 ace is sized differently than the flik (when sizing; the stabilizers are included in the calculation on the ace). What is the 310 ace comparable in the flik? May be someone can verify the comparable..... Will

Flimmi, Just so you know; I did see him pick up the can and dispose of in a trash can. It was just a joke. I'm sure you realized that. At least it brought up a very important issue. Something that I hope everyone remembers when climbing to exit points. That is "not to litter", cigarette buts included. I also didn't see the need for the sarcatsic comment at the end. Matts one hell of a good guy Will

Rent a car or van depending on the group size. Check out Amigos car rental online. Make sure it's a desiel; better mpg. Do a round trip returning the vehicle to the same airport you arrived at. Europe is smaller compared to the States millage wise. So getting around is no big deal. A van is the way to go....... Will

You should have seen Taylor sprint up the gourge when we were being chased. I was slowing him down; he even offered to carry my gear which he did for a sec. but kept sliding on the shale. I took over. I had to keep up with my heart exploding out of my chest. It was all those runs up the fyords in Norway from the white house to exit four and back on rain days. Will

The Building 340 ft was sweet, running exit good delay, on heading landing on main road with a car load of girls cheering us on. Then off to a local tower exiting from a platform at 525 ft taking a solid delay pulling right in front of Sparky and Dennis at 400ft. We didn't have the span checked out other than internet info so we were taking a chance on going there. It turned out to be the sketchiest thing I've ever jumped in my life. We were scared. It was 240 ft but with 100 ft trees. We had no were to tie static line. In the end decided our best bet was over the river 80 ft wide and 100 ft trees flanking both sides. This jump would be taking it up a notch. A free fall would bring us with in 30-40 ft from the tree tops so any off heading would be dangerous. We opted against the down wind side of the bridge because of landing options. The other side was our only option. We started to gear up knowing this would be our only chance of base in a day. It seemed as if it was meant to be. Taylor Stepped up onto the concrete wall said see ya and went. I looked over the edge to see him sinking it straight down and backing it up to avoid dead hydro lines (very old; went only pole to pole across the river and hung into the water) using his rear risers. After splash down he called up, no sweat. I decided to go jumping on a 45 deg. angle to the side of the bridge I got a 90 right over the trees; Quickly stall turning it into a carve to the left I flew between 2 trees over the river now, hooking it right into the water to avoid the bank on the other side of the river. Coming in hot splashed in...... All good. I thanked God on that jump. We were the first to ever free fall this garrenteed. If it was ever jumped at all. The cliff was another story (300 ft). Guess who showed up on our way out. The Law! They where fat and out of shape so we ran. To any whuffo the only way out was the way we came into the gorge. Well we scaled the steap embankment hiding in the woods stashing our gear near a road then getting our car picking up the gear on the way out. We were face to face with these guys before we ran so it was intense. My legs still hurt from the climb. Will

At 1201 am Sunday so began our Quest for Base in a day. Hoping we would get the winds and that we would stay on schedule was our biggest concern. We also were determined in doing it in order B A S E. First we hit up a building, then off to our local antenna. packing up our rigs we set off on a mission to jump a span and finish it off with a cliff. Using two rigs and a well planned itinarary we were able acomplish it in 20 hours with over 1000 km of milage put on our van. Well as of 8pm Sunday Aug. 13th I'm excited to say that my friend Taylor and I were to " get er done". What a rush; road trips are the best. Will Base890

Hey, Thought I'd let you know; I just rented a van from: www.amigoautos.com/ Check it out. It was the best pricing I found anywhere. Prebook it on the web and pick it up at the airport. If you rent anything bigger than a car there is a 30 swiss franc extra for airport delivery (no Problem). All in all a good deal. Me and 2 buds will be in switzerland from May 6th- May 17th. We rented a van. A car is just too small. A good idea since you'll need room to move around during the long drive. Will

In the past there was a canon power shot camera (possibly APS film type)in the classifieds for sale that was retrofitted with a bite switch. Does anyone have any experince with this? I'm not sure if a digital could also be retro fitted like this. It would come in handy having the option mounting a small high mega pixil camera in different locations.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Crispi boots fit a little wider than the Hanwags. I bought a size 13 Crispi and found them to be very comfortable for even the long hikes in Norway. If you have any questions on where to buy them contact Crispi. http://www.crispi.it/home_uk.php
