4. the last option, a question about it. The person that will be killed shortly, will that person be replaced with Ivan? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 5. how hard is it to fake a serial number in the pre sale stages though? It's still a good idea just to get all the pertinent info on a canopy like DOM, etc. Instead of just oh its a sabre 150 with about 200 jumps! Thanks that helps! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 6. thats good advice, I've been working on sit exits facing the tail, I feel like I've got them pretty strong, I only slightly mess up one in about five. I'll try your advice next jump. Any advice on how to sitfly exiting facing the direction of flight? I asked an experienced freeflyer at my DZ a few dozen jumps ago and he advised work on facing tail first bc facing direction of flight was a bit harder. I'm ready now to mess around with different exits so I'll be ready if a certain jump calls for me sitflying facing a different way than Im used to. Any advice?

 8.
Andy2: In this sport and most of life you can kill more flys with honey than salt. Or as we say here, "kill em' with kindness"
Totally agree, I was being facetious. I'd definitely not care if the said rigger applied the tag to my rig. In fact I think thats a pretty common practice, I've seen that kind of thing on a few of rigs. If you're describing the same thing I was thinking of then its really a non issue because the actual adhesive of the tag doesnt get applied to your rig, it gets applied to itself in a loop. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

 14. post some freefly pics as soon as they can get the motors cranked up all the way and get someone in there! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 15.
perpetrated a crime in Andy's under-age name: bought his beer for him
That was some damn good beer too. Basically my toggle fired (and since hookitt thinks this is a better story we'll actually say that it caught on FIRE) probably due to a loose riser cover and sent me in a hard spin that I couldn't correct after a few moments of fucking around with it. I chopped at 2.5k and was in the saddle at 2k. I got it repacked that night and jumped it the next day. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 16. LOL! I was just afraid one of them was going to pee on my canopy, the way they were all crawling over it! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

 18. nice did they pie you like they did me a weekend ago? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 19. there are a few of black skydivers at my DZ. Couple of them are students and one is licensed. Real nice guy, just wants to skydive, same as us white people. You know I never thought so much about the race minorities in skydiving. I could really care less about that, but let's figure out a way to get more females involved. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

 21.
Opening at 2K on a hop n' pop is quite a bit different than deploying at terminal.
Lol, obviously.
As for snivelly canopies, my Stiletto usually takes 500-700 feet to open. On a hop n pop I'm usually in the saddle about 150 feet after exit. Granted, I pull in a smidge of rear-risers during the opening, but it still opens smoothly and softly.
OK, so you're at 1,850 feet with a parachute that is beginning to malfunction after its finished opening. That's 350 feet above my harddeck. Maybe your harddeck is lower than mine, fine. I fly a sabre, it eats up a good bit of altitude in a hard diving turn. I wonder if your stiletto eats up more. I don't like the sounds of a parachute malfunction starting at 1,850 feet. But like you said its all about personal comfort level. I'll do a 300' BASE jump before I'll C/P from 2 grand. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 22. I flew my stellar 120 reserve this weekend, I have never unfortunatley flown a PD-R so i can't compare, but I can tell you the stellar flew very nice! I hear people complaining sometimes about different brands of reserves which stall very quickly. I did not experience this at all on the stellar! It had a pretty deep/powerful flare. I had enough foward movement on landing that I had to slide out some speed on the soles of my feet. (I wished I hadnt had to fly it but it was treating me better than my main parachute on that jump ) Blue Skies! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
 23. uhh dude, youre asking skydivers whether you should spend money on jump tickets or CD PLAYERS. Let's see, last time I checked I stopped buying BLANK CDS to burn music onto bc theyre too exspensive. But yet I don't have a problem spending 200$ every weekend on jump tickets. I say go skydive your money away asap. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...

 25. ok, but what about little guys like me, I would have to fly a 65 sq ft canopy in order to get a 2.2 WL. Is that small a canopy really ideal for distance? I've asked people and they say no, ideally I would upsize a few sizes in the 80s and add about 20 pounds of weight! Thats just what I've been told, I'm glad I dont have to worry about it for another thousand or so jumps! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
