  1. sounds good to me, but in the meantime I can just carry on practicing my exit positions in the door of the bus as we hurtle at top speed round various obstacles. They just need to install a little hanging rail or something for floating exits. Who needs to go to the dz to use a mock up. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
  2. Yeah I saw one of them round Oxford Circus way the other day. The sooner they introduce them on more routes the better, I still have to go on the old door-at-the-back buses every day. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
  3. cool video, whats the second track where they're doing RW? ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
  4. I have been there three times, August last year, and July and October this year, I originally did my AFF there. It is a fantastic dropzone, the best out of the 3 I have been to, and even on the windy days the group of people you meet keep you amused. The sea isn't very far away (about 1-2 miles) and you can go kite-surfing there and waterskiing a few miles further away. And the nightlife is great in the evenings. All in all you won't get bored. You don't get quite as much attention from the staff as you would do at the British dz's (IMO) but as its mainly fun jumpers out there everyone is more than happy to give you advice or jump with you. I have been laid off a month or two with shoulder problems but will definately start off the new season out there in Feb/March time. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

  8. you can get the t-shirts from here: http://www.i-merchandiser.co.uk/weebls-stuff/. Can whoever has a video of your final version of the dance please post it somewhere on the Internet and put the link on here, and I'll forward it to the people who originally developed it, they have follow ups on stuff like that, and I'm sure they'd be thrilled to see a bunch of skydivers recreating it! ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
  9. to whoevers organising this, you can get proper t-shirts from the site where they actually made badger mushroom snake, if you want to do it properly and all that. http://www.i-merchandiser.co.uk/weebls-stuff/ ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

  15. I did my AFF in Empuriabrava just north of Barcelona last year and would recommend it. Their web address is http://www.skyrats.com/eng/home.htm. The DZ is a very good one, they held the skydiving world cup there last year. There is also a lot to do there other than skydive and the beer is much cheaper than the UK! It is a good DZ to do your AFF in as it is one that all UK DZ's know of and most will be happy to let you jump at their DZ's after getting your licence there. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
  16. North London Parachute Centre near Cambridge (1 hr ish up the A1) is the cheapest course in the UK I think and is a very friendly DZ. Alternatively, look at doing your AFF in Spain or somewhere where the weather is better and its cheaper over there too. If you do your AFF in the UK it is most likely to take a fair while to do due to weather conditions here being quite pants! ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
  17. Well I thought I would introduce myself and say hello after lurking about just reading other peoples posts. I jumped again for the first time this weekend after a 7 month layoff since getting my A' licence in September last year. And it took some guts to get myself back in that plane I can tell you! But as always the instructors were fantastic and reassuring, and I got 3 good jumps in which is impressive due to the high wind conditions here in the UK this weekend. But anyway, I vow to keep myself current this year and heres to a good seasons jumping! ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
