    When you say that you skydive, you set a bar directly in front of that person. He can not ignore it. His brain automatically sizes up whether or not he can rise above the bar or if it is a limitation. Chances are this person has no knowledge base to work with on the subject and blurts out the result of his view of that bar. I've noticed that, too. Always within the first 2 thoughts from that person is a declaration of whether he is capable of rising above that bar. Usually he will not and defends his decision with the old "Why would anybody jump out of a perfectly good airplane?" defense. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

    Fogging in freefall? In the plane? Under canopy? The only place mine does not fog is in freefall. You just have to crack it open a little. :-) "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

    Asshole! I'm not throwing my name in just yet. I thought I was going this past March and got sick at the wrong time. Now I haven't jumped since Sept 2010 We'll see how it goes this time. I wanna be on that jump. You think he will be screaming in sign language? "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"

    I love my Safire. I am 220-230 so I am loading it more than you would but, you don't realize how fast a landing is on something zippy. I found out this year, I'm 49, that I can't run as fast and don't heal nearly as fast as I used to. Just something to think about. Oh, it's a 190. 1.3-1.4 er, 189 "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
