Scalp "em! Outstanding!

I'm one of those guys who wants to expose his kids to as much as possible, to let them have every chance of seeing what's out there in the world. My wife and I are very scientific people, so that's always going to have a presence in the house. so I bought a 33" skeleton to explain to them why they aren't just blobs of muscle and fat. I aslo buried an bunch of chicken bones in the back yard to act like Indiana Jones looking for bones.. What else do you guys suggest for a 4 and 2 year old? I'm all about new ideas!

I'm just starting to get into the techinical, more modern clothing besides the traditional cotton hoodie. I've been turned on to the Mountain hardwear gear and am impressed on how lightweight and warm it is. I'm going to try to utilize my new gear for work this year instead of the big bulky Carhart jackets. The physical part of it can range from really working the muscles and lifting heavy sh*t, to walking around and just supervising. I've got a few synchro jackets and an alchemy from MH, and I'm looking for good base layers to help while I'm working where the conditions will range from cool to super cold. I've seen some stuff that's just crazy expensive, like $60 for a long sleeve and I'm not sure if it's necessary. Is it? What brands and what kind of configuration do you roll with? Comments welcome!

Thats nothing. this one time, I ate 2 large pizzas and a half gallon of milk, then went jogging.

So my 4 year old went to his first Karate class today. They keep the class around a half hour so's not to overload them. Thing is, I didnt know what the procedure was at this place and a guy approached me. I explained myself and he mentioned that the instructor was stuck in traffic and had called to tell him she was going to be late. When she got there she was all business. I dont know if she's normally like that or was pissed about something but she was ordering my little guy around in a very direct tone. Now dont get me wrong, I discipline my kids and they take it, but this woman was almost a bit rough. I try not to be the dad on the sidelines telling the kids what to be doing when the coach is doing his thing. But my son's attention is like a butterfly's somtimes, and this woman got his attention. He was following her instruction much more than I've seen him follow other coaches of different sports and I think he was having fun at it. He said he's like to go back and I'm very proud of how well he did. I was very happy to see some discipline being taught while what appeared to be kids having fun learning. I would not mess with that instructor though. She'd whup my ass.

I got this virus that wont let me delete or quarintine. Its a Trojan horse one located in and called C:\WINDOWS\system32\__c00CADC8.dat I've done the searches and it's evading my anti virus stuff saying access denied. I've tried to look it up and delete it. I found it, but it says it's being used by other programs or other users and wont let me remove it. I restarted windows in safe mode and it still wont let me delete it. Tips? suggestions?

Anyone know what attachment is on these CCD cameras? I recovered a bunch of these from a building before we demo'd it. It had a 12 volt power source and video feed going to it. THanks!

I was an exchange student to Germany. I dont know of the APPPI, but I know that in general, it was something I'll always hold very special to my heart. It was an experience that opened my eyes to the world and made realize how big it is out there. I highly recommend it and I hope my kids will want to do it. If your kids have a chance to do it, GO! At the very least, you'll have great stories of being a fish out of water.

Does anyone know how to figure out when an image was taken? I'm thinking about putting an offer in on a house and the "for sale" sign was up when they took a street view shot of the house. I'm trying to figure out how long it's been on the market. Help me save some money!

I'm getting budget numbers together to build a simple ranch with an open floor plan and crawl space. But I'm not sure it's worth it with all the foreclosures out there now. It might be easier to wait a while for a fixer upper to come along. What was your cost per sq foot to build?

Has anyone had any luck with handing and invention off to a company for them to market and sell off to a big outfit? I'm good with coming up with ideas, but terrible with all the marketing hoo haa. Anyone?
