    Being able to share in the joy with someone experiencing skydiving for the first time is the number one reason why I would want to be an AFF or Tandem master, most definitely. Sharing the skydive with someone who you know enjoyed it that much is just awesome. Not only were those great pics to see (I am very happy this individual got to experience a skydive) but they also make me take a minute to reflect on how fortunate we are as skydivers to have the ability to jump/spend the extra $/ have the camraderie, etc. There are lots of people in the world who can't even touch being as lucky as we are.

    Great idea and so adorable- I am sure the kids had some stories to take home to Mom and Dad this evening. And holding their attention for an hour- that is very impressive! I would try it at the nursing home, but I just dont think it would have the same effect Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

    Jump #41, 6 months. So I pose a ?- there are a lot of jumpers who had a mal with 50 or less jump, or while they were on student status, but statistically, don't people normally say that a skydiver will have a mal approx. 1:1000 jumps? Why are there so many student malfunctions? Poor packing, something the student is doing, etc. Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

    Yikes! You say you aren't in pain yet, but I can feel your pain already I normally tan easily, but laid out for 90 minutes (no prior sun) here in Ohio with no sunscreen and defnitely felt the effects. Nearly 2 weeks later and I am still peeling! Could hardly get by wearing a bra, but trying to put on all that gear you pry have to wear- yikes, you will be on fire- good luck!     It cracks me up how the men sometimes state, "my S/O TOLD me to stop doing this..." If my boy ever tried to tell me to STOP jumping, I would have to say, I may have to STOP talking to you. It is a mutual respect thing- a S/O can let you know that it may worry them or they are bothered about it, but do not command something of someone, goodness!! (Unless you guys need that because you are such an adrenaline junkie that someone needs to be around to help talk some sense into you... then that may be an exception...)     So easy for me since I do not eat meat! I would be giving up the beef, no questions asked Vegetarian bacon is really really good, so I can understand that tough decision. There are many other kinds of good alcohol besides beer. Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

    Well it happened again- not the right elbow, but the left this time is broken. Deja vu two summers back, quite unfortunately. Nothing skydiving related (little accident at the lake) but it definitely dampens summer jumping plans Alana- get well quick-- the summer is still young and things definitely could have been worse.     Right along with the rest of the safety posts- be careful!! I used to donate plasma regulalrly in college and being from a college with a small drinking problem, I would regularly go out and get wasted the night after. I definitely had a HORRIBLE hangover 100% of the time I did this and I would get wasted very very quickly, but sometimes it is really hard to learn a lesson... What can I say- I had to be "economical" with the $$ I had earned from donating a a cheap night at the bar was the way to do it! Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~
