I have never had to land in the plane. I have always wanted to go down with the pilot just to try the whole dive, zero-g turn thing, but jumping out of the plane is still much better I am sure!! I am afraid of heights in a weird way. I was supposed to do a hot air balloon jump @ Skyfest last week (the weather ended up being shitty) but thinking about jumping out of the balloon got me in a panic. Bridge Day does a toll on me too. Also-- centipedes! They are the grossest things! Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

Thanks everyone, I got er done! I included the leaf salad on there, I liked that idea. I wish you all could see this place we are creating and I also wish we really could go into the business cuz it's pretty sweet! It would be the best place for all of us to hang out at on a rainy day (besides the dz of course ) Wingie- you would convert to AerOhio for me I don't know when my MBA will benefit me enough to be a sugar mama, but I will welcome the oppourtunity to give it a try! For one of my MBA projects, we are creating a business plan for a lounge called The Cellar that will primarily be focused on fine wines and a great atmosphere, but I need to create an appetizer/light food menu. Thinking fried calamari, spinach/artichoke dip, caprese, small salads, etc. If you can give ideas or links to some restaurants you know of with good appetizers, that would be much appreciated

At my work, if you do an "average" job, I give you a 3.5% increase. Above and beyond goes somewhere between 4-5% with the possibility of earning or losing 1% based on your good/bad attendance Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

So I am just wondering, if people become this far away from reality, do people die doing this?? It is definitely interesting to a point, but I dont know if I could relax enough without AIR to BREATHE that I could enjoy it without spazzing out. Lots of fun, just br sure you bring something to cool yourself off and pack under if it's as hot as last year. We had to pack and sit in the sun the whole time and we were really wishing we had one of those canopy things instead of just our tents. Looking forward to meeting you! I need help on that one too! I asked Alanab for assistance on this awhile back. I will post a diagram of my office later as well. The bad thing for me is that I can hear people coming, but I cannot see them. Therefore, I am somewhat guarded when I hear someone walking towards my office. Seafood is the only "meat" that I eat. People think I'm weird since I will eat raw fish, but no chicken or burgers, but it is so freakin addicting!!! Try a caterpillar roll- I am not sure what fish is inside, but it has avocado inside then BBQ eel on top. (Yes, I used to think that sounded so sick, but it is freakin awesome!) Also, if you like just the pieces of fish on rice, go Toro (fatty tuna) all the way. It melts in your mouth! Ohhh, I am so hungry now! Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

I guess it was one of those "lack of sleep and being somewhat blonde comments" coming out! Although I did not get to do as many jumps as anticipated, all of those I did were awesome! The "girlie ways" SCR initiations and whatever else! I met so many people (since I haven't had the oppourtunity to be much of an Ohio boogie ho) and that was the best part. Alana and Justi did a Skyhook demo this weekend at Skyfest. It was remarkable to see how quick the reserve deployed once they cutaway their main. Watching their demos actually further convinced that this is the way to go and I will be buying a new Vector with a Skyhook within the next month. I am glad to hear that you had such a good experience with it as well and that everything was ok. This convinces me even more that this is the way to go! Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~

Hey everyone, I am back at work EXHAUSTED and itching today. Our flight out got delayed- Alana, Justi and I got back into Columbus around 11:45. Despite the weather, mud and bugs- the PEOPLE I met and the dedication of those that coordinated this event was awesome. Thanks to everyone at Splaceland for your hospitality and Texas traditions. 100+:10:2 My humps has been changed to BUMPS for all of the damn bug bites I got during the night at Skyfest! 10 jumps- lots of different things with all of the awesome people I got to meet this weekend. Every dive I went on was so much fun! 2 cases of beer (1 that got poured all over me) during the SCR initiation. Blue skies and SAFE landings! ~Amanda~
