Some mechanics also say that these sewing machines are faster, because they have a special mechanism that prevents the thread from tangling when leaving the shuttle. Sewing machines with such a hook are significantly more expensive than models with a horizontal axis hook, so I wondered if it was worth spending more.

These are the following models: Typical GC 20606-1 - (vertical-axis hook), (copy of Mitsubishi LU2-4410B) Typical TW1-1245 - (vertical-axis hook), (copy of Pfaff 1245) Juki DNU-1541 - (horizontal-axis hook) In your opinion, which of these sewing machines is best for my task? Is a vertical-axis rotary hook realy better than a horizonta one in terms of seam quality?
