You might be interested in this: http://www.executivechute.com/ The specs are here for the ol round chute, that seems to drop pretty quick from "125ft" (wow!): http://www.executivechute.com/products.html And call me a newbie, but if you are in a position to have the corner office on the 99th floor, you have the $ to look into proper training, and hopefully have the knowledge that this cheap chute isn't the answer. But, hey, I dont have the fancy office!

I am in the AFF program, and was just curious (daydreaming rather over what to spend MORE $$$ on in the future...) as to when everyone typically bucks up for their own gear(?). Did you buy a jump suit early on? How many jumps before you got your own rig? Any rental issues? Used/New? Bought from local DZ? etc...

I just started an AFF program, and honestly, I might not be able to afford more than 2-3 jumps a month, at least not initially at my DZ. Are there real issues with this? What is the max time you think is dooable between jumps? I can punch it up if necessary, but wanted thoughts here before I commit to beans from the can for a few months. Thanks

Well, you all sucked one more newbie into the fold. I got a Tandem jump in and I am jumping again for AFF L1 on Saturday the 26th! I am very excited to get started in my certification to get my license! From the first few moments, skydiving has replaced my fave "extreme sports" - mt. biking and snowboarding. They seem like just plain old sitting on the couch by comparison! Thanks in advance for all the info I plan to suck off the site!. I' be sure to post after I get a few in!!!
