  1. There's no such thing as dinosaurs... only dinosaur bones. sheesh!
  2. Definately a no. It is amazing how few people realize the negative aspects of social networking such as facebook - for not only children but adults. Its as if society is made up primarily of lemmings slowly marching to their demise. Sadly, very few get it and it is foolish to expose our children to this as well.
  3. But of course! Maybe just looking for love in all the wrong places (women that is)...
  4. A way to a man's heart is making him a priority in your life, and truely caring about him. To think it is through his stomach or penis is shallow.
  5. Sorry to blow the wind out of your sails - it's still junk food no matter how you cut it.
  6. don't be fooled. chips are neither healthy or 'healthy'. Save your money and health and eat some fruit and healthly type of cheese and some nuts with good fats.
  7. ahhh, right, got it. I was definately thinking in general terms...
  8. can't dissagree more. If two people go for coffee it's a date ?!?!? I go for 1:1 coffee with girls and guys all the time. These are often people I would barely have a chance to get to know better otherwise. Guess that makes me gay (going for coffee with the guys). Not that I'm saying there is anything wrong with gay, but I'm not and I'm just getting to know co-workers. Pretty crazy if that's a date. Haven't women fought for generations to be treated as men? Wouldn't going out for coffee with women as we would with men be the same thing? And yes, OK, sounds like he may be interested in her... I'm just rebutting the rediculous point that if it is two people it is a date. If you don't know the guy and aren't interseted, just decline. no big deal. so there...
  9. you sound a bit uptight . Nothing wrong with getting to know people at work and safe flirting. Coffee isn't a date. If he makes it more than just coffee with a co-worker than that is not good, esp if you don't want it. you asked. my opinion. take it or leave it.
  10. That clearly explains it. Must have been a flux capacitor from wallmart. never go cheap on those!
  11. I think he could have easily avoided the problem if he wasn't using unleaded fuel. In other photo's his left tire pressure was lower which probably contributed to the starboard yaw. IMHO that is...
  12. I'm surprised it got that much response. My wife rented the video - no clue why - I got through 10 mins of that total waste of time crap. Any longer and I'd have to kill myself.
  13. I"m not going to read through this entire thread... I totally hear what you are saying... It's quite simple: there is a double standard and there always will be. It is never acceptable to pop a woman in the mouth however deserving it would be. Don't hold back because of what society thinks, but rather do it for yourself. As difficult as it may be don't care what the world thinks and don't degrade yourself by hitting someone else regardless of gender. Equality and fairness do not exist and don't let that be a barrier to being above it all. Flame on...
  14. Maybe. Or just might get shot and your hand cut off.
  15. $3M is quite reasonable if he were never able to remove the seat from his glutes and had to live with it the rest of his life. What size and type of pants could you wear? Then again, I'm sure with his creativity he could find a way to spin that and make a lot more dough than that. A butt version of the elephant man. Would be great in toilet product commercials - a modern day Mr. Clean with a twist! Imagine toilet butt man holding a toilet brush in one hand and cleaner in the other!
  16. It's very complicated: show up naked with a beer.

    Martial Arts

I started training 20 years ago and have trained various styles. I’ve seen countless people try the arts and fizzle out. As well, of the very few people who do stick with it and achieve blackbelt (or equivalent) many of them unfortunately don’t continue. goose491, in my opinion offers good advice. In addition to this, finding a club that will enable you to weave your martial arts training into your lifestyle is in my opinion more important than picking the ‘right art’, especially when starting martial arts. Some additional things to consider: 1. Proximity to club - it has to be something you can continue to easily access. 2. Club atmosphere – are the people enjoyable to train with and do you look forward to returning on a consistent long term basis? 3. Ability of instructors - are they good teachers? Do they have a good understanding of the art? These are not synonymous with each other and the latter is unfortunately a bit more difficult for beginners the determine. 4. Do you enjoy it? - getting back to goose491's advice... why do you want to train? Does the club offer a mix of things you enjoy? Are you interested more in the physical aspects or intellectual aspects? Self defense? Competition? Physical fitness? or perhaps even as a way of making $$. Full contact (with or without body armor)? Weapons? After a hard days work I want to know that I won’t have any excuse for not going training (it’s close, my friends are expecting me, etc) and that when I do train I’m glad that I went. There are some *very* exciting martial arts out there to choose from. Good luck!
  18. Just fired her last week. I think she would sue if I posted her pic.
  19. I've got one of them. don't buy it - I'm pretty pissed cuz it doesn't actually fly.
