This event is on 9/11, September 11th, at almost 40 different drop zones across America and the world. We are trying to get it at every drop zone across America from North to South and from East to West. I've attached a flier and the jersey link (Option Studios: https://www.pullupcords.com/911 NOTE all the proceeds from the sales go to three different 9/11 foundations). On the page from Option Studios, you can see the list of drop zones that will be participating in the event. If your drop zone is also and is not on the list, please send me a note and I'll make sure they add it to the list. This is my vision. It is not about politics, or social issues. It is about the people who did their job that day. Going up into the tower knowing they would not be coming back down. About the passengers of flight 93 taking their own fate into their hands and saying, "No, you will not use this plane to do more damage to America." Thank you for your time and have a great rest of the day and week. Patrick

I'm trying to find someone or a company who builds flags (U.S. Flag) 400 to 500 Square feet. Suggestions? Thanks.

Tunnel exercises for aspiring camera flyer?
ThighMan replied to drdm's topic in Photography and Video
If you are serious, get a camera suit. Small or not, the angle is important. Some of the exercises my coach put me through are: Burble flying (start high and slow and make sure the coach is good at avoiding you). Dropping straight down vertically. You have played catch up with a funnel. It works great. Ascending vertically. When you come off the plane a bit early.... Relax and have fun with a game of "TAG". The coach touches a place in the tunnel and you touch it. Doing the same moves as your coach. Just a few suggestions. Good luck and have fun. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together -
Cookie G3 Roller Mount on a Bonehead Aero

The chin mount has a cut away system built into it. NOTE: Not sure about a major snag hazard but hey, Opinions. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together -
Good morning Everyone, I'm a new camera flyer and am looking to add "EDITING" to my skill set. I do OK with stills but, I need the video editing option also. Suggestions? I reviewed the past question and three come up: 1. Premier/Adobe Creative Suite, 2. Vegas, and 3 Pinnacle Studio. I've heard the Golden Knights use one that is rather easy to learn and once you set up the sections, the program imports the parts of the video straight to the spot. So, thoughts? Suggestion? Options? I'll have a strong laptop and a strong desktop but want to be able to use the laptop as the main source of editing. Thank you all. Sounds like I jumped one step ahead of what I should be doing. Thank you both for the great advice. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

I have not jumped it yet. Grounded with a scope to my right knee. Torn cartilage. Ok. So, checking out the used Sigma 19 and the 35/50 mm. Wish me luck. Ring site is a great idea.... Slow but steady. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Why not the lens? I'm using it on the ground and it takes some very good pictures? I was going to play with it a bit in the air and see what it does. NOTE: I'm still very new at video/camera flying.... Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

A quick update. Sent an e-mail with the pictures to both Chutingstar and Tonfly. I also ordered a camera mount for the front of the helmet. Time to see what they both think. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

A quick question. I'll be calling Chutingstar in the AM but, I just bought a Tonfly 2X camera helmet. I asked for a GoPro Curved Forehead Safety Mount, which was mounted. The problem is the holes they drilled are to high to mount the new Hero 5 and have a Zoom lens on my A6000. I'm trying to see if I can "Patch" the holes, redrill the mounting holes lower so I can mount the Hero 5. Everything was mounted prior to attaching the hardware. So, I've got all the hardware and am trying to mount it. If I redrill the holes, it will mount the correct way with the low profile mount. Thoughts? Yes, I'll call Chutingstar and give Tonfly an email with the pictures.... Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Advice needed on setting up a new camera helmet.

Does the cage mount like the camera or does it take the place of the camera mounting and you mount the camera in the cage? I would say the later. I like the part of the cable management. I'm an I.T. guy and well, "CABLE DRESSING" is second nature. Thank you for the link and I'm looking at it. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together -

Advice needed on setting up a new camera helmet.
ThighMan replied to ThighMan's topic in Photography and Video
OK, need some advice. I'm putting a Sony A6000 on a true camera helmet. I've got the camera, getting the mouth/tongue switch, and the helmet. What should I NOT do and what SHOULD be done. I've got a few jumps and I'm more than a little safe (I think so anyway). Any good suggestions and advice is more than welcome. Thanks. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together -
Have to ask, what is a Flat top pro? If I need to add a third helmet for video and pictures, I want to make sure I have what will be usable. Suggestions? Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

I have the chin cup and a cut a way system for the fuel. Thank you for the info. If I get more serious, have to look at a separate "CAMERA" helmet instead of using my demo helmet. Hmmmmm... MORE $$$$$. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

I know it has been asked and yet, with the newer and lighter digital cameras (pictures only), the answer always changes. Here is what I'm looking to do: take high quality pictures. Large megapixel for sharper images. Suggestions? I have a camera helmet (fuel) and can mount almost anything on it. I have a larger canopy for the opening shock on the neck (210 storm). Thank you all for the information. Patrick Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

My question is if the time lapse photographs are going to be 12 mb? I love how small the GoPro's are and if the size of the pictures is larger, editing can be a whole lot better also. I'm still "NEW" on the camera front (contour on the side of a G-3 cookie and a GoPro session on the front). I like the video of the contour but I'm looking for a better "PICTURE TAKER" for personnel pictures during a jump. Once I find out if the New GoPro takes a larger picture, I'll more than likely move up to the newest version. A better solution would be to make the firm ware on the Session take a larger picture. Not sure if it can happen but this way I would not have to invest in another camera... Oh well. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Grell Fab G3 chin mount. universal full face helmet mounting?
ThighMan replied to keithbar's topic in Photography and Video
Hello, I'm Patrick. I have a G-3 cookie with the Grell Fab chin mount for both the GoPro Black and the Session. I use it for taking pictures and it works great. This past weekend I used it as a second camera for a four way team video. I have a contour on the right side of the helmet on a rail system and use that as the primary video camera. I like the cut a way system with the chin mount and that is the only reason I got the system. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together -
LMAO... Only if someone notices it. The bad part is this: to change it, 50 to 60 U.S. Dollars. Plus, the zipper.... What crap. Really bad part, it is a Tony Suit...... Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Before I go off on the maker of the jacket, what side does your jacket zip up on? On the one I ordered, the zipper head is on the left side (to me it is a woman's side). All of my other jackets have the zipper head on the right. Am I wrong? Thanks. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

I have two different models (different profiles). They sell one that will house just the GoPro. To me, that is a cheapest looking and it is in price. That one basically holds the camera. I have one with the mount on the back so you can take the GoPro camera case, minus the back door and use it. Take a look at my set up. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
