Roger that. Stay safe and the one piece of advice that I will give (that I still use today), "Jump with your BRAINS not your BALLS". Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Quick question, why did it close? I was there for little over a year. Great place, very nice people. I survived my 600th jump with a double toggle turn at less than 100 feet under a Samurai. Got the scare (four stitches) to prove it. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Holly Shiet Batman, I think it will open. You try it and let me know.... :) Don't jump it. Pack it right. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Hmm i have planed on sleeping in my tent.....i guess there will be a show for all to see. Tents are fine. The weather was only HOT Friday through Monday. After that, it was quite nice sleeping. Besides, can't be any worst than being deployed to Saudi. Trust me, I've done both and Rantoul (new) Quincy (old) WAS THE BOMB. Stop by and I'll buy you a beer. Look for the Hellfish tent and ask for Hellfish 321, Patrick Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Don't worry about the stomach thing. It will get better once you start getting the "Routine" down. It took me almost 150 jumps just to feel comfortable sitting by the door. And even now, I have a little knot in my stomach until we reach 1500 or so. Relax and have fun. We all have been there. :) Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

The A-10 has a Titianium "BATHTUB" for the pilot. I have seen some pictures (Military) of the A-10 that you would not believe. One engine shot to sshhiitt, holes all over it and yet it still landed with the pilot. Thank you Boeing for making such a plane. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

You have to call them (217-222-5867). If you get deployed, I am sure they will refund the money to the credit card. Just let them know before you leave the good ole USA. (Yes, I'm military also) Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

I used the phone and it did take a little while but the young lady on the phone was SUPER NICE. Asked about the on line registration, seams there was a bug or something. Be patient. It is worth the wait. Now if I only could get my darn DVD... Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

Got a quick question, anyone driving to Rantoul? I plan on driving and with the price of gas, I would love to cut the cost. I have a Durango (03) and would enjoy the company on the long trip. I would prefer a lady but with the cost of gas, I'll have to see. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

From One Newbie to another, welcome. I can find out some great information and have some interesting conversations. Take a look at the women only area. And I thought men where bad.. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

I started on 2 May 1998 because I was headed to a "Airborne" Unit and wanted to know what it was going to be like. Talk about loving it. The people on the DZ made it so much better. 2 yeas and 350 jumps later, I get to go to Airborne School at Ft. Benning. Ouch, I now know what a PLF is. I know that if I have a hard/bad landing, I'll walk away because of what they teach you. Feet and knees together and it will be OK. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

You know you are on it. Now I just have to get Lemmonhead and Mike and a few others. Of course, we could do it out of the helicoptor. You know how much I just LOVE () that ride... Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

My first Skydiving Mentor is a woman (Flyangel2) and she licks, I mean KICKS ASS. Lots of love Mary... If guys can't handle the pressure, PHUCK them. I love jumping and the people that are in the sport. From the low timer (we all have been there and I still am) to the SKY GOD (DESS). Thanks for everything. P.S. Especially the extra altitude... I had the GREAT pleasure of docking on the FANTASTIC (Yes, one must kiss up to ones mentor) Flyangel2 for the first three days. They then put me in that slot so she could teach me how to really swoop... :) Thanks for letting me be there Mary.. :D Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together -
Hello Everyone, Just a quick into. I'm Patrick, AKA ThighMan, AKA Soldado. If you ask, I'll tell you. I jump in Florida, Z-hills, and had the great fun to jump on the 2 point, 120 ways. We actually did three points but who is counting. Hope everyone has a great time jumping and if you ever need a ride in or around Tampa, drop me a line. This will be my 5th straight convention. Each year it gets better and better. I'm hoping to do my 1000th skydive there with some of the people who go me started in the sport and have mentored me. Hope to see you there. Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together
