I do not have any ill wishes for US. Just the opposite... which should be apparent if you would bother to read my comment. However, what I wish for is of no importance. What I witness, is cause of major sorrow. w4p2

I feel sorry for you America. Going the way every great power has gone before you. Beeing destroyed by your own arrogance and ignorance. Your country is dead... you just do not comprehend it yeat. w4p2

Depends of your age. The older you are, the more training you need. I took my ppl with glider at age 47, first solo after 62 landings. The youngest students were around 16, and got to solo around 30 - 40 landingds. Oldest student was 65, and landings required were well ower 100. The training required is directly proportional to your age. And dont worry... your teacher will tell, when the time is due... and it is due in due time. Cheers: w4p2

Crying for America, feeling sorrow for the world. A man who managed to turn world wide sympathy for USA into international hatered re-elected. I feel sorry for the country. W4P2

We discussed the iraqi operation here almost a year ago. I was pissed of for US actions, you were not happy either, and both of us ( and number of others )were afraid that US will leave a big mess behind. I hoped, we would be wrong, but unfortunately not. Thousands of lives wasted, Iraq in worse shape than ever, US won the battle but lost the war and face. My prediction is, that within a few years we will have three separate states, namingly kurdi, sunni and shia, each creating individually more problems than unified Iraq ever did. Thank you Mr. Bush... you will be never re-elected but cleaning your mess will take forever.

I don't agree. Political murder is a murder, whether done by state, organization or individual. I do not agree with Hamas methods or politics, but I can not help but feel shamed by Israeli actions. Some how I have the feeling, that US civilians will end up paying a bloody price for Israeli "heroism". Israeli militants are tarnishing the reputation of entire jewish race for generations to come. I feel sorry and sad.

And when a high US office holder is targeted by enemy state and offed, is that a targeted assassination or murder?

going ... going... gone.

Problem being that the case is not under US jurisdiction. It is probably not under that of my home country either, as the forums in question are international. Finally, the money and time required for legal actions outweight the potential results. Funny what a lunatic can do and cause... actually not funny at all.
-
Imposing on what? Problem with legal action is, that the crap appears in international forums and I think that the legal system has larger thinks to worry about. Not to mention the money involved. Cheers: w4p2

For roughly a month I have been faced with an irritating problem. There is a lunatic, that has stolen my real identity and is appearing in some international professional forums under my name. I know the name and e-mail address to this person and want to get his ass on big time. I have warned him via e-mail, I have contacted the forums with mixed results and I have even considered taking legal action. Rather than legal crap, I decided to get even, but only via e-mail. Any good ideas would be highly appreciated. Kind Regards: W4P2

Strenght and vibes from offshore Brazil. My best friend had a tumor the size of an egg removed from his brain six years ago. He was supposed to be a terminal case. Half an year later he was back at the ships bridge and is today a master of a well known major vessel, which name you would recognize immediately. (((((((Big vibes for you and your family))))))) Kind Regards: JL

He got what he deserved. Oh boy... one big box is needed before the dude is down the hole. How would you like to carry that one? I bet there is one scumback bum less in states, and this statement has nothing to do with race. Time for celebration and BEEER. Cheers: JL

A friend to my enemy, is my enemy to my friends. If the friend of my enemy, is the constant source of my terror, then it is justified for me and my friends, to bring the constant terror to my enemy and his friends, from generation to generation, until the justice prevails. Correct or not? This has been the thinking of US and its opponents since the time I started reading and the attitude is gaining momentum every day. Guess were it leads us and US?

Cause i'm doing time offshore Brazil . Good big game fishing though

What is your favorite e-mail christmas card. I am looking for a cool one, hilarious one and a nasty one, but internet is so full of that crap, that in order to save time I decided to settle on few of your suggestions. Cheers: JL

Searching for Joe Crotwell in all forums returned only one result, that being your posting. So if you have additional information, please fill us in. Kind Reg: JL

Thank You for telling the history of the tragedy. There are many of us that have not access to the magazines mentioned, and the history of the incident while posted here serves, as a remainder of realities, as well as tribute to the persons that lost their lives. Kind Regards: JL

Dear Sir I fully agree with your comments regarding the unrespectfull behavior that has been discussed. Having worked in number of major disaster scenes I have observed, that in case the recovery efforts over a grisly incident continue for extended periods of time, the peoples involved often resort to very dark humor, in order to maintain their own sanity and capability to work. However, Resorting to to type of behavior as described when it serves no other purpose than self promotion, is simply poor taste and manifestation of low morals and IQ. Having said the above, I ask about the lake Erie Incident. I tried to access the Parachutist Magazine with no success, and I imagine there are other participants to this forum that might have the same problem. Subject to your judgment I ask if you could either post the article in the history forum or describe the incident under dedicated title to the extent you find appropriate. Kind Regards: JL

Time to go ashore and do some jumping, rather than talking. It has been interesting freedom hunting Bush bashing 6 weeks. Thanks for everybody. My special appreciation to the old hands that have taken the time to answer my rookie questions in the "serious" forums. Once more thank you and be safe. See You in good six weeks. Blue Skies: JL

I fail to see what is the connection to voting or dictatorship. What I see though, is number of hard headed youth, that could not care less if they get probation or not. The cycle will start and lead into life time imprisonments (three strikes and you are out- style) for persons who could possible have been saved. So what is worse, a little fear of authority in time, or lifetime behind the bars.
-
That is true. I admit that the title of this thread is intentionally provocative, but the essence is not. The youth crime rates in countries that allow the physical punishments for these youngsters is marginal if compared to so called civilized society.
-
That was not the subject of the thread. And I find the matter worth discussing. Overloading the Judicial system and jails with smal time scumbacks does not do good for anyone. Least of all to the punks themselves. Maybe one good fatherly whipping would set the arrows straight.

With reference to recent thread on tire slashing and taggings I simply think, that society should complete what the parents did not.
