Ahh everything is so warm and fuzzy..........lol I used to pack...alot.....it's payed for every bit of gear I own! -pretty much, so thanks for your $$$-lol as far as whining goes.....I never really got any, but if / when I did it was usually fairly constructive, and if it was just stupid well, you would get a stupid response back-lol, like, "body position" or in some extreme case "Pack it yourself"-lol the one thing noone mentions, yeah packing is hard work, blah blah warm fuzzy but for those of us who jump, we get to freakin sit on the ground wayyyyyyyyyyy to much........that was the thing I disliked the most, especially when there were alot of rigs to pack, if I were to go jump, there would be 10 tandems waiting for me when I got back-lol and on busy weekends sunset load was no different, so the answer was to get on loads early in the day, but then I was still hungover..so damn-ha the folks you have to watrch out for are the ones who "forget" to pay you......... .....there is no spoon -------------------- My website

well, if you are absolutely sure the HDD is screwed you may be able to save it with a recovery program from norton or powerquest. They also make some programs that wil check your hardware etc. I say that as soon as the computer starts (before you see anyhting to do with windows) press F8 and you should get the option to start in safe mode, than go to the control panel and add / remove programs and make sure that you have removed the new installations. failing that go to the device manager and check for any resource conflicts, you may not be able to see all of them in safe mode. .....there is no spoon -------------------- My website

Theres alot to PHP, but it follows a C like syntax which helps if you've ever messed with any kind of programming. I still consider myself intermediate at PHP programming, even tho I've been able to develop some interesting applications utilizing some of the more popular uses..blah-lol Thing is now I have to learn more VB, ASP etc and .net type stuff because thats what we get to do at school-:) overflow! --------- Whoever that was that recommended NAMO -(aka LAMO), I would check out some other wizeeeewigs first. Ann tried to use Lamo for a while, and one of the MOST annoying things I noticed was that it added a CHARSET type meta tag that made a browser think that you needed japanese text display installed-lol. Why is it that everyone likes to talk about widgets. What in the F%$k is a widget, who owns widgets, where can I buy stock, are they hiring? Seems like everywhere I read that Holly meltingbutterpants wants to write an app to market widgets. Aint that the truth I dont necessarily knock using a WYSIWYG (wizeewig)-lol I just believe they are more beneficial to anyone if they know whats going on in the first place, eg: knowing how html works etc, tags -n -all that. HTML is really pretty easy. For me however, I can do a page faster writing it myself. I do use most of the popular graphics programs however to slice images and such tho. I also use a freeware program called source edit. It handles most of the popular programming /scripting languages and you can even automate repetitive stuff with "macros", it's a handy little booger....... .....there is no spoon -------------------- My website

If we could get the ok, you could actually get a domain name and have the site hosted alongside your dads. There is plenty of webspace left over and you would just have to pay 10 a month to have another domain name hosted on the account. You would have fully functional email etc with the domain name. There are some site building utilities that you can use as well, but the server is best used when you build the site and ftp it up. I dont know if you guys have it yet, will be there soon or what, but I just got off the phone with Skydive Monroe in Georgia and looks like you guys are getting the ghost!! A purple and blue C-182 with a big bloodshot eyeball painted on the spinner! I'll have to come out one day just to jump that plane -lol- I was there when it first flew into monroe, before the restoration and even helped strip some of the old paint from it! haha the reason we always called it the "ghost" is because it stayed stripped alluminum silver for over a year before it was painted, then came the spinner........... enjoy! .....there is no spoon -------------------- My website

Another way which is easier for me in PS 6+ to extract a certain part of an image is to: Click the image tab at the top select extract with the size "marker" tool you want, trace around the part of the image you want to keep, connecting back to where you started. use the paintbucket in the extract window and fill in what you want to keep select preview use the two edge correction tools to smooth / define edges click OK you'll have the part of the image you wanna keep.. .....there is no spoon -------------------- My website

make sure that the layers aren't locked (little lock next to em) if they are, duplicate them and delete the locked ones easiest, or sometimes you can change the color mode from indexed color to rgb or whatever you want. it's kinda hard to tell just by what you wrote, so let me get it straight you have two seperate images, one you want to paste part of into the other? try the lock thing first, if its not locked try and post some screen shots of your layers pallette and what you are trying to do. .....there is no spoon -------------------- My website

what error messages are you getting? Is it sending anyhting at all? there are two things that you'll need to make a form field work (remember I really suck at perl -lol - I use php for this) You'll have to name the form fields appropriately You'll have to tell the script to not only get the value of that form field, but to send it in the email, and write it to the email. Your best bet in my oinion is to start over, duplicate every instance of ONE existing form field, change the name and change the script to match, and get one to work first. also remember to set the file permissions properly, something I always forget cause you dont have to do that in php
