I dropped several WDI's this year on IAD loads in brisk winds. WDI's are another tool that can be used to make things safer....why not practice using them...

a bit harsh to say a Triathlon does everything poorly?? misinformed even...! Ive jumped a Tri 170 and 150 in the past and found them to be a nice canopy. Ok, they are never going to b Hp, but thats not their aim.. Great for demos, very stable in turbulent conditions, and super nice openings every time!! Sabre 2 and Pilot I agree are similar with Sabre 2 having a more powerful flare and less nice openings (IME) and the Pilot having a deeper weaker flare and lovely but slow openings. I think Dave was bitten by a Tri as a child.....

Thanks for the responces. I asked this question because I used the term "counter" when describing how a student did on a 5 second delay this past Sunday and a visiting senior instructor looked at me like I had 2 heads. VI: "How did the student do?" Me: "He did great except for some reason he did not counter" I asked the visiting instructor what term he used to describe the use of the left hand to "balance" the right hand moving to pull. He though for half a second and said "move left hand above head". So here I am asking this question. Is the term "counter" inappropiate...is there a better term? Symmetry by its self does not seem like a good term to describe the movement....it is what we are trying to achieve by moving the left hand above the head while the right hand reaches...but can it be used as a term to teach the particular move to students? Wow....this was a great F1 season...and todays race wasn't too shabby either. I was pulling for Barrichello to take it to the last race but Button and Brawn deserved the championships. Hopefully next year will see as many teams in close compitition and my man Massa will have a better year I dont know about this no mid race refuling though...it can provide some cool shots.... -
I love those!!! I remember being able to give the lever stub a kick when set to down and watch it go the "safer" and later version relied on a slot in the bumper for the jack head to hook into..

Out of 130 jumps how many do you think are on a F-111 type 7 cell? Sparky How many jumpers have any non reserve jumps on a F-111 7 cell??? I have a few...but I'd bet most that started within the last 10 years do not.

When I pack a Velo...I count 7 cells when flaking the nose.......
