my husband posts under flyin'designs. My user name is groovychic. no matter what I do I can't get it to log him off and log me in. I was even editing my profile (groovychic) but as soon as I posted, it stuck it back under flyin'designs...help! Also I have made 3 posts under flyin designs tonight, is it possibleto change those to groovychic? "Shut up and jump already....Whats that? Your mommy wont let you?"

again, this is groovychic, not flyin' designswhy are there so many differnt ways of teaching AFF? At my dz I am going by the ISP, (catergories A-E, multiple jumps per level) I have notice other people posting about levels by number and so on as well as I have heard it discussed in that manor as well. My husband (flyin'designs) also did "levels" at Skydive Lakewales last Nov. I am just curious as if this is a mandatory USPA change or if it is per JM, DZ and so on. What are the benefits and drawbacks of both? Thanks for asking my questions

first this is groovychic posting, not flyin'designs, I can't get it to log my husband out & me in, no matter what I do] I made it to catergory D yesterday, after spending 3jumps trying to get past cat C2. My first two attempts, I completely had my head up my rear, noone bothered to tell me that you couldn't fly like that on the 2nd one, I had a friend video it, so I could see what I was doing wrong, I soent the next hour or so walking around the dz kicking myself. My JM sent me to the wind tunnel with my husband (also a coach) to work on "postive legs" I spent the next 8 minutes in the wind tunnel. It worked though, I completely aced my 3rd attempt at category C 2. So now I am ready to conquer category D this weekend. The 8 minutes in the wind tunnel so kicked my butt! I feel like I was given a super soap party. I am nearly one solid bruise from my nose to my toes, but hey I AM NOT COMPLAINING! It is all for achieving my goals in my new found love....skydiving "Shut up and jump already....Whats that? Your mommy wont let you?"

Great Canadian Friend needs your help......
FlyinDesigns replied to FlyinDesigns's topic in The Bonfire
Here's the deal.....I have a great friend here in Indiana that just moved here from Canada, He is a Canadian Rigger as well as a Coach/Instructor. Due to a heavy work load and not knowing the area very well, he is in need of some new friends....especially of the female type. A little about Eric.... First he is the greatest guy in the whole world. One of the few NICE guys left. You know the type, he would stop and help an injured kitten in a burning building. Someone who cherishes a good friendship, and takes good care of his friends. Speaks fluent French "The language of Love" (he is from Quebec) and is very easy going. If any of you women in the local area would like to have a nice time out, and meet an all around great guy...post here. We both work at Skydive Greensburg, so maybe you can swing in a make a few jumps while here. Thanks for your time.... Danny "Shut up and jump already....Whats that? Your mommy wont let you?" -
What was the most memorable sex you have had at the DZ???????????
FlyinDesigns replied to rhino's topic in The Bonfire
Usually.....unless you are Carrie. Then it gets you kicked out of the King Air. When Carrie shows flesh at our DZ we LOSE altitude! Although I do have a pretty graphic video of her and a batchelor at altitude before his first jump....Pretty scary! "Shut up and jump already....Whats that? Your mommy wont let you?" -

I can post from a personal expierence on this one... I have been raising my 7 year old step-son since he was 18months old. When I first me my husband to be, this little boy was always sick with a (sorry to be descriptive) but a green runny nose. Far from an every day childhood runny nose. When he was about two, he had sore all over his legs & arms that appeared to be "infected" mosquito bites. After taking him to two pediatricians, we got the smae answer from both, that is was "toxicidiy poisoning." They said it was from being exposed to too much secong-hand smoke. It looks like they were right, his bio-mothers rights were removed shortly there after & he hasn't been around anyone that smokes in over five years, the result...no runny nose, no coughs, no sores. He still gets childhood colds, but they always make him much sicker than the same cold affects are other three children who have never been exposed to any great amount of second hand smoke. I saw an astra fire at approx 2500feet agl this weekend WHILE THE DIVER WAS UNDER CANOPY. The unit was set to 1100 feet...Still not sure what happened, but luckily he was able to land both canopies. "Shut up and jump already....Whats that? Your mommy wont let you?"

Obviously this question is not for me, but for my husband. He Freeflys quite a bit and has found some problems with the V2. And yes in the HD position the velcro starts to give a little. I contacted Relative Workshop and they had VERY few mods available. NONE that had to with the risercovers. Thanks for all of the help guys. I have found a rigger that used to work for relative workshop who is going to see what he can do. "Shut up and jump already....Whats that? Your mommy wont let you?"
