Heres 10 mins in photoshop... I think that the colors are pretty balanced.

Us neighbours to the north spell stuff the right way too

I had a base dream last night. Never done it... But I dreamed it anyways, lol. It took me 3 tries before I pulled high enough to have my canopy open before the ground, but it didnt hurt when I landed. Dreams are weird

I cant knock the government too much... they employ me . But I know what you are getting at, lol
-
Ok, out with it... how do I not pay this

See, custom socks wouldnt really intrigue me... not even enough to look and see what it said. But i guess customs is even less interesting. I just want my new helmet.
-
I think canada customs only charges $5 for handling or something. The rest is 8.5% duty, and 7% GST. Maybe something else. At least they dont ahve PST on top of it. Between customs, and the cost of shipping, its like 1/4 the cost of the helmet. Bastards at customs want my money.

My FF2 arrived today... with a sticker from customs for $120 . I knew there would be something, but never bothered to figure it out. I didnt bring enough cash with me, and now I have to wait till Monday to pick it up. Im going to have to dream about it all weekend I guess.

If I remember correctly... Adobe RGB will give you closer color to reality, a "bigger color window" or whatever they call it. You can tell i know lots about color, hey

I went and drove it. It rocked, but im not sure its what I need right now (im guaranteed a ticket or 2 with it, and I cant afford that). Working on a deal for a 06 Jetta TDI right now though

Peter cracks open all along his body with a wheeze of hot bowel gases and bile. Do you Choose: masturbate or find an aperture to penetrate with your tounge

I know about the maintenance... just did brakes, struts, an outer cv joint, and rear bearings on my 94 jetta... did the work myself, but even just the parts were $$...

Does anybody have one of these? I think im in love... . I drive a Mk3 jetta right now, and am looking for something newer. My buddies wife sells VW, and im going for a test drive on friday. They also have an 03 VR6 GTI, but I think they want too much for it. Anybody who has driven/owned either one, or both, what do you think of it?

Isn't a stale old butterfinger the most dissapointing purchase in your life (aside from maybe the 75-year old hooker...). Its the one chocolate bar that is pretty much a waste of time once it gets all hard inside
-
Hey, it wasnt me that changed it... it was shrek. I just didnt think it sounded too healthy

I have never had to go as far as drilling to get it to fit... hmm...

Can't you legally put almost anything into a PT6 in an emergency? I thought that home heating oil, and diesel and stuff were on the list (time limited of course)

That was amazing... not too many of those happen in anything professional. I agree about calling curling a sport to be laughable... along with ice dancing or whatever, and golf, etc etc... but it is a team activity that takes a lot of skill. If you think it looks easy, give it a try sometime. Guaranteed you will be hurting the next day (that ice is pretty hard when you eat shit and fall down)

In theory, assuming no wind and *no* drag, never. Horizontal will stay constant and vertical will increase due to gravity. The math to actually figure it out is probably gross, and will involve a whole lot of really boring variables to take into account the forces acting upon it laterally (drag). Now to have it land in a specific area, its gonna depend on how heavy your crash test dummy is compared to its surface area. As was said earlier, a bowling ball (lots of weight, small area) is going to behave differently than a down blanket (small weight, large area). A bowling ball would reach a much higher terminal velocity than a person would, and it would probably keep almost the same lateral speed through most of its fall, due to a small surface area and fairly aerodynamic shape.

You need to use a microprocessor. There are specifications for LANC online, its 8 bit commands I believe, bi-directional. I looked at it. And then looked at the price of a cameye, and decided to let them do the work for me. And theirs looks pretty too. Edit: Heres a start... but just buy one, its easier http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/dmeed/sony_lan.html

My favorite frames are the ones that go in your eyes. I know lots of people that use glasses, but I have tried it a couple of times, contacts are 1000 times easier. Unless you have a problem wearing them, I would give that a try.
-
Shit, I have always figured it was possible. But after 30 seconds or so of the light not coming on, i get bored, and find something else to do.
-
Possible? Yes... but difficult. The current Cameye works through the lanc port, which uses a really simple protocol that a cheap micro can use. Firewire needs a whole lot more. I dont think that a simple microprocessor could do it... You would assume that they would still put something for external control devices. Maybe...

"This is gonna work real smooth..." (kids on bus screaming)
