I was thinking about running a webhost just for skydiving websites. Charge, like, $10/year or something, just enough to cover expenses, but with that, get 250 megs of space, and lots of bandwidth, for short vids and pictures and stuff. Just not sure if enough skydivers would want that.

Google, like most search engines, does what is called "crawling" the internet. They basically have a computer that clicks on every link, on every webpage it comes to, and every link on that one, etc and indexes it all in a database for your searching convenience.

I know the sound very well... I also buy cds lots, but if its just the occasional song that I like, I dont buy them. That sound though... I just assumed it was some shitty ripping program that people were using, but its scary. Especially if yo have the volume turned way, way up, and it comes on...

That really hurts man. Dealing with the death of anyone is difficult, but when it hits like that, and twice in a row, its even more difficult. The only advice I have, which has helped me in the past, is spend some time with other people who were close to the deceased, and talk to them about it. But just as important, is to spend a lot of time with other people, and try to keep living as normal as possible. Hope all goes well for you

... Think again Its an Excalibur made by Flying High Mfg., in 1987. Phantom 24 reserve, and an Ovni 160 main made by Parachutes Canada (to complete the incredibly cheap beginners rig). Looks cool though

I get the same problem as Casch does. I dont see how updating a java engine would fix CGI generated images... CGI is server-side, java is client-side, so they shouldnt have any effect on each other.

The "official" beer rules state that: 8. Participation is voluntary. If a skydiver chooses not to participate by buying, neither shall the skydiver enjoy the fruits of the accomplishments of others. 9. Non-drinkers may buy sodas and buyers may make up any part or whole of their purchase in soda for the enjoyment of those non-drinkers. Hope this answers your questions

Of course, those choices leave you to pick the best of two evils... USPS or UPS. I know that around here at least, if you arent home, UPS will just leave boxes on your front step (of course though, according to Micheal Moore, all of us canucks leave our doors unlocked, so they could just put it inside I guess ). I dont like either option, through USPS it at least gets delivered by canada post, who if you arent home, takes it to the post office for pickup instead of leaving it just outside your door

I had the same thing with shipping (I asked for UPS and they shipped by airmail). i live in Canada, and it took about 3 weeks to get my stuff. Other than that, I was happy with them.
