This is a loss not only to our skydivig community, but to society as a whole. Dan was a person who genuinely cared for those around him. I remember in Phoenix, he would bring youth from his church to the DZ in order to be a positive role model. I know that his faith was strong as a christian and right now he is in the arms of Jesus smiling down upon us all. Dan, you will be greatly missed my friend.

me four...2 years ago at the tyouts....can you belive I gave up that opportunity to deploy...(what was I thinking???????)

thanks for the suport rocketfeuille, I guess I still believe in the ideals that this country was founded. That every person is entitled to their freedoms. Even now when it seems that my freedoms have been taken away while I wait to go overseas, I know it has a greater purpose. I only ask one thing from the poeple on both sides of the issue. When this is going on or even over, don't protest the soldiers for doing their jobs. Everyone has their own political views but soldiers do what they are told and deserve the support of the citizens regardless. Ill step off my soapbox now. Max aka Maximo Rodriguez

This thread is the perfect example of why the US is great. The principle of free speach. Now personally i cannot stand either the trendy college kids who protest to be cool or the phony patriots but I serve in the Military to protect their rights to be what they want to be. Even now I sit at an installation in the US just waiting for the plane to take me to the middle east. I have no problem doing it because I understand that while some people may not agree with the reasons, there is still a nobility in defending the freedoms the we enjoy. Max aka Maximo Rodriguez

Call Las Vegas Skydiving Center 1-800-964-JUMP Its at the Jean Airport. They are going to have a King Air on the weekends. hope that helps
-
Yeah bro, it was fun. I even won enough cash at the slots to pay for my hotel. It has potential.
-
Im not sure how its going to work, from what ive been told it will be 2 dz's at the same airport.
-
As far as I know it is, so there will be 2 DZ's at Jean.
-
Chris, yeah, I was at WFFC, worked at the TAndem tent.
-
sorry betsy, Im not trying to sound like a snob, but just like phillykev says, we want the jumpers around Vegas who arent allowed to jump the other DZ because maybe they didnt learn there.
-
well considering the other 2 DZ's run cessnas the turbine A/C will hopefully draw the "experinced" or licensed jumpers. If that answers your question.
-
Actually Marc wants the experienced jumpers at his place, thats why he is leasing the turbine aircraft. I think after the boogie circut, he is going to have a King Air in Vegas instead of the porter.

which article? I think i missed that one
