skyflyerbritany replied to SpeedDog's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I have been around skydiving my whole life and I don't want my BS job but I have to pay the bills. The second I getmy riggers ticket I am going to go up to my boss and say peace out dawg! -

skyflyerbritany replied to FrogNog's topic in Gear and Rigging
can we say BAAAAAAAAAAAG LOOOOOOOCK!!!!!!!!!!!! or one big bundle of crap -
I certified when i was 16 and then when our home DZ shut down I was left in the dust. We all moved to another DZ and they gave me a job as a packer but they would not let me jump until I was 18 and I almost had 100 jumps. They all have good reason to say no they just don't want to get sewed.

You should come to skydive mesquite in Nevada. We have a great inviroment. It would be a good break for you. We are having a boogie in jan. There are plenty of belly flyers and freeflyers. Lately we have been doing hybrids. You should check out our web page- www.skydivemesquite.com. The DZO's are the best you wil never see them w/out a smile. All the staff are great. It is an all around great place to jump. Check out new places before you give it all up. I know how it is to get mixed up in being staff. I am only a packer but I have an idea of what it feels like. Well hope to see you. Just keep your head held high and have fun. -
Anyone gotten burned out on skydiving?

I just wanted to say that I was sorry. Skydiving was the best thing that ever happened to me. The people in this sport or the greatest people i have ever met. I think you were at the wrong DZ. My skydiving friends are my true friends. I can't trust anyone as much as I trust them. -
I totally agree with you andyman. We were all trained to do it for a reason so just pull both.

I have not read this entire thing but what I have read I feel that you are selfish. The reaso I say this is because if you had been alone I am sure someone would have come. I know that every dz I have been to when someone landed off there would be someone to go and get them if not a friend that was there watching or jumping or someone else on the Dz would come. I just think that you need to realize that someone is better than no one. Sorry to be rude but that is just what I have gathered reading this never ending thread

Do you realy want to trust your life with a 2.00 dollar peice of fabrick? It may be too late when you realize it didn't do the job.
