    WOW! That is a freaky situation! No wonder you don't like clouds! But instead of freaking out you overcame your fear and came through! Your instructors must have been impressed. I go over emergency procedures before every jump as well and even though i only have 6, i'm sure that i will never break that ritual! You never know what could happen each time you go up................ I notice your from California; COOL! I would love to go there someday. I live in New Brunswick, Canada. How is the DZ in Cali?     You had a mal on your first AFF jump?! That's freaky! I only have 6 jumps and just started my first level of PFF (we call it progressive free fall in Canada) and i am so scared of my first Mal Do you feel more confident now for the next time a mal should happen?     Steve, Wow! Thanks for your thorough input. I see that you have many jumps! It makes a lot of sense and i am DEFINITELY going to try it this weekend. I am doing my 2nd level PFF. And i can't believe how amazing free fall is! Now i know what skydiving is all about! This is my first time on forum and i realized after i posted one that it was in the wrong spot...oops!
