Ok ok.. I come here everyday and read and think and search.. What's the next big PC1000? I'm not talking about "just wait and see what Sony offers" i'm talking about the next big camera that every tandem video guy is going to scour ebay and craigslist for.. I was at Crosskeys over Labour Day and some Aussie there was jumping with a JVC 3CCD HDD camera that worked flawlessly and he didn't have it in a box? I suppose I am looking for the best, most reliable small camera that's going to replace my PC1000 in the next few months with equal or better video quality/features.. Thanks ~Jeff

I use the Canon 10 - 22... I set it at 10mm and a .43 on my video camera.. I've attatched a couple shots from this weekend to give you an example. ~Jeff

Hey, I've used Crossfire 1 and 2's loaded 1.4 and up.. They were great! I had a katana 135 for a while again a great opener! I jump a Velo 103 now and would agree with Laszlo that if you aren't carefull they can bite you in the ass.. ~Jeff

Thats what I get paid.. The customer pays $105 for video/stills.. I will remind you though that we are a cessna DZ with 2ish tandem masters and therefore don't do that many loads/day. ~Jeff

Sam, I make $63 @ swoop for DVD and Stills.. I provide all my own equipment.. swoop provides the CD/DVD and case/insert for it. If its video or stills only it's $43.. ~Jeff

Thanks Lazlo.. Can anyone post a picture taken with a 1.6 crop camera (300 - 400d) comparing the 10-22 (@ 10mm) and the Sigma 15mm fisheye? I am on the fence trying to figure out what to do? I have the 10-22 but I am thinking of the fisheye for eventual upgrade to full frame? Thanks ~Jeff

My "Free" samples cost $30 in taxes and duty... They were also crap - 3 skydives and they were full of holes ;) Hopefully your experience will be better! ~Jeff
